SONY IMX269 Image Sensor
The M1 uses the highest level image sensor in the Micro Four Thirds system, it can deliver the most accurate color, and the finest image detail. The 3D noice reduction can keep your pictures looking crisp and clear, and use with ISO 25,600 to achieve excellent image quality.
Excellent Portrait Lens with Macro Mode
M1's 42.5mm F1.8 portrait lens will make you a master in portrait shooting. With a bright aperture of F1.8, you're able to shoot any way you like, even in low-light conditions. With six sets of six optical glasses, and the combination of two high precision aspheric lenses you will minimize distortion that's usually seen with telephoto zoom lens'. It's focus motor with screw mechanism means you can focus faster, and quieter, which is ideal when taking pictures of moving objects.
