Air Fryer Tips Every Owner Should Know

March 7, 2019 by BuyDig Team Leave a Comment

Get ready to challenge everything you know about frying foods. Our Cuisinart High-Efficiency Airfryer from Buydig.com can fry your favorite foods to crispy, golden brown perfection using little or no oil. Yes, even French fries and potato chips! The machine uses patented technology to circulate hot air, yielding crunchy, satisfying results. Now you can enjoy all the fried foods you love—without the guilt. Here are some tips that will help you master using an air fryer better.

Shake & Mix
Be sure to open the air fryer and shake foods around as they “fry” in the machine’s basket because smaller foods like French fries and chips can compress. For best results, rotate them halfway through the set cooking time, or every 5-10 minutes.

Don’t Overcrowd
A common mistake that many people make is overcrowding the Deco Chef XL Multi-Function Extra Large Capacity Airfryer from Buydig.com. When deep frying, you understand how much food can actually be cooked at one time because you fully submerge the food in the oil. When there is no oil, you might not leave enough space for your ingredients to be cooked properly. Make sure that you do not make that mistake. Give foods plenty of space so that the air can circulate effectively; that’s what gives you crispy results.

Use Cooking Spray
Lightly spray foods with cooking spray or add just a bit of oil to ensure they don’t stick to the basket. Also, you need to use a small amount of oil or cooking spray to make sure you are not losing taste.

Stick to Natural Temperature
When working with fresh food, it’s usually not a great idea to start cooking straight out of the fridge. Take your time and make sure the food you are putting into the fryer is at room temperature, but still fresh, of course. This will cut down on cooking time and should lead to crisper results.

Keep it dry
Pat foods dry before cooking (if they are marinated, for example) to avoid splattering and excess smoke. Similarly, when cooking high-fat foods like chicken wings, make sure to empty the fat from the bottom of machine periodically.

Try Stuff Other Than Frying
Though the name says ‘air fryer’, you should know that the air fryer isn’t just for frying. It’s great for other healthy cooking methods like baking, roasting and grilling, too. You can cook everything like noodles, lasagna, pizza, and even salmon! In other words, you should experiment with it. Just be sure to consult the manual before doing anything too adventurous.

These tips will help you get better tasting food out of your air fryer.
