For additional security, the T2020 offers pre-boot authentication or PBA standard. PBA reduces the risk of malicious attackers gaining access to your data by not loading the operating system until the user is authenticated. The T2020 also comes with PortShutter an application that allows individual users to set policies that will restrict which ports are available to the end user (USB ports, optical drives, etc). These features easily protect corporate data on the local hard drive and on the network.
