"Canon Excellence With a Big Barrell"
By Snapping Sue
from Hartford, CT
I have purchased (6) bridge-cameras, and have been extremely impressed with the abilities of this camera; excellent in low light, overall low noise pictures, pleasing color rendition, flash pictures not overly bright. I also have the Nikon P510, which this camera in on par with, but a little extra zoom ability. You will not be disappointed with this great camera.
I would buy this product again

Best zoom for P&S camera. Love pictures of wildlife and the moon!
By happy painter
I purchased this camera in May 2013. I love it. I specifically bought it to take photos of subjects that I could then paint. I needed a great zoom and focus for details. This camera gives me these. Flip out screen is a great feature to eliminate glare when outside. Battery lasts a long time, but I always keep a spare just in case.
Fantastic zoom and action shots.

I love the sports mode. I take pictures from the back of my Husband's Harley and they turn out fantastic. The long zoom is great for taking wildlife pictures. Sports mode is also great for action shots of my Grandchildren. The thumb rest for the right hand is in an awkward position. I've started recording video on accident more than once.
More than I expected.

I like to take candid pictures of my grandkids and wildlife. Zoom and auto focus challanging to get use to. I got close ups of the kids from across the park, impressive. Makes my Minolta 35mm seem antiquated in comparrison. I am very happy I spent the money. Wife not so much.
