Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 II Standard Auto Focus Lens Exclusive Pro Kit

I take pictures for events like homecoming. This lens makes the best portraits I have ever taken.

I use this lens for almost everything, from portraits to candids at parties and landscapes, close ups too.

What is really awesome about this lens is that it really captures things close to the way you see them with the naked eye. The lens is very small so its very light! The lens is not so obvious so its great for parties when you wanna bring your great SLR to capture great moments but dont want to bring the huge lenses and be that guy at the party. The lens is very sharp easily captures things in excellent focus.

Only a few things i dont like to much, but are by no means deal breakers mind you, Its a little slow to focus sometimes and a little noisy when doing so. thats why I use the manual focus, which works perfectly I might add.

This is a solid lens and is great for a lot of things its super sharp and very capable! you wont rebret having it in your lens collection! Its a lens everyone should have in their bags!

Good for portraits, it's a prime lense so good for taking pictures of people (from at least a couple of feet away).

..Thw overall "sharpness" of my photos is so impressive---Lens is easy to mount and dis-mount..

For the money, this product rocks! Sure, there are better out there, but nothing comes close on value. I love this for low light, groups of people in semi-initmate settings, and getting fantastic depth of field shots.
