Active Light Control

This circuitry automatically detects the brightness levels of the input signal and adjusts the backlight accordingly in real-time. The screen provides maximum brightness that's up to 1.4 times greater than conventional systems, while its minimum brightness during dark scenes is half of conventional levels. The result is a greatly expanded dynamic range from black to white peak, with crisp, natural pictures. 

Auto Programmable Scan

Automatically tunes all available channels in your area or cable system into memory, and then lets you add or delete the channels of your choice. 

HDMI-HDCP Interface

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an uncompressed digital video and audio interface that is a digital connection between CE host devices, such as set-top box, DVD player or A/V receiver, and a digital television. High bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) provides a protected interface which will ensure the availability of high value content such as premium high-definition video from HD broadcast satellite receivers and many new digital cable boxes. The video portion of HDMI is also backwards-compatible with DVI-HDCP devices using a special cable adapter. 

Photo Viewer - SD / PC Card Slot

This circuit accurately separates the color (C) and black and white (Y) signals to remove dot crawl, cross color interference and hanging dots, both horizontally and vertically. 

Active System Control

This technology dynamically adjusts the video signal according to the image contrast. Working in tandem with Active Light Controls, it adds greater brightness to bright scenes and brings more depth to dark scenes, for vivid images and a more powerful viewing experience. 

Edge Correction

The edge correction circuit helps sharpen the edges of objects in the picture. It works in conjunction with the dynamic sharpness control and velocity modulated scans to help produce clean, crisp images and reduce the unwanted effects of video noise.
