Auto Title/Chapter/Thumbnail Creation (DVD-RAM) - Recorded content remains easy to find with the help of a menu that will be automatically created when you record. It displays the date and channel you recorded, along with a thumbnail of your recording by capturing the first video frame of the recording. The date and channel can be change to any 64-character title and the thumbnails to any image within the recording. Chapters within the recording can also be created by either predetermined intervals, or by the user selecting specific points within the recording. These chapters can also, be named and assigned a specific thumbnail from any video frame within the chapter.
WMA & MP3 Playback - Play Recordable Compact Discs (CD-R & CD-RW) with music stored in either the Windows Media Audio or MP3 file formats can be enjoyed..
EASY NAVI Menu - An entry menu portal that provides quick and easy access to key features of the DVD recorder, such as Timer Recording or DV Capture. Additionally the EASY Navi displays a live action window", providing feedback to the user on the current status of the recorder, whether it is recording a program, in the Time Slip mode, or playing back content with DVD-RAM.
Chase Play & Live Chase Play (Pause Live TV) - Chase Play allows the user to begin watching a recording that is already in progress. The Live Chase Play feature lets you 'pause' a live recording and then return to it later. During playback of both modes, a bar graph can be displayed on-screen depicting the 'progress' or location of the playback signal with regards to the real time recorded signal.
5 Recording modes - Preset audio and video settings provides simplicity in selecting the recording bit rate and allow users to maximize disc space based on the content to be recorded. (1hr, 2hr, 3hr, 4hr, and 6hr)
Front Panel A/V & S-Video - There are composite audio & video inputs, as well as RCA L/R inputs on the front panel of the unit for easy camcorder dubbing. As well, an S-Video input is also available on the front panel for interfacing components with this available video output.
