Bicycle mirror

Pros: Good glass gives clear picture of what's behind you on a bicycle. Lightweight, easy to adjust, & it stays in that adjustment position despite vibration & movement. 3 rubber prongs allow the mirror to be attached on helmet or glasses. I just bought a new helmet, so I now have 2 of these: one on each helmet. I used the previous one for 2 years: good product. Cons: Since I attach mine to the helmet, it can go out of adjustment & need some manipulation when I place the helmet down in the car & it gets bumped or moved. Other thoughts:

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Take A Look Cyclist Mirror

Pros: This is the perfect mirror for a cyclist! I know that some cyclists think that a mirror is unnecessary, but I find that it is an important safety device. The best estimate I can make is that about 1% of drivers who pass a cyclist, try to hit them purposefully. With a mirror, you can see them coming and take evasive action. I have had two riding acquaintances killed in the past five years by being hit from behind by drivers. In both case they got off with NO punishment after providing as their defense the statement, 'I didn't see him'. So until the laws change and the courts get serious about punishing drivers who hit cyclists your best defense is a good mirror, and the Take A Look mirror is the best. Cons: None. It s the best and most inexpensive insurance you can get. Other thoughts:

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

This is THE rearview mirror!

Pros: Why are these so hard to find? Every bike shop, every sporting goods store should carry these. Super adjustable, clips onto sunglasses or bike helmet visor, big mirror for a great view. What's not to like? (See 'cons'...) Cons: The mirror only works on the left side of your head. This is great for cycling, not so good for rowing when the bank you're trying to stay clear of is always to port. I wish there were a way to mount it on the right side of my head! Other thoughts:

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
