The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds in White Smoke combine Bose OpenAudio technology, Immersive Audio, natural environmental awareness, Bluetooth multipoint, adjustable EQ, built-in microphones, IPX4 water resistance, and a lightweight open-ear cuff design in a clean neutral finish.
Instead of entering or sealing the ear canal, each Ultra Open Earbud clips around the side of the ear. This keeps the ear completely open, allowing conversations, announcements, traffic, and surrounding sounds to remain naturally audible while music continues playing.
Bose OpenAudio technology directs audio toward the ear while maintaining the open-ear experience. This makes the Ultra Open particularly useful for commuting, walking, office work, exercise, travel, and situations where staying aware of the environment is important.
Bose Immersive Audio spatializes conventional stereo recordings to produce a wider and more externalized presentation.
There is no ANC because isolation is not the objective of the Ultra Open platform. The design deliberately allows environmental sound to remain audible.
Battery life reaches up to approximately 7 hours with standard playback, approximately 4 hours with Immersive Audio enabled, and up to approximately 48 hours of connected standby. The included charging case extends practical listening time to around 26 hours.
Bluetooth multipoint allows two compatible source devices to remain connected simultaneously, while a 10-minute quick charge provides up to approximately 2 hours of listening.
The earbuds include built-in microphones, physical controls, adjustable EQ, and Bose app support.
The White Smoke finish provides a clean off-white appearance that highlights the minimalist, jewelry-inspired shape of the Ultra Open platform.
