This food processor replaced one similar to It that I've used for over 40 years. The only reason I replaced the other is because the bowl was fatigued and the replacement was hard to find. My use is simple and primarily for chopping and grating. But it can do much more.

This is my second food processor from Cuisinart. The first lasted over 30 years, with the motor still fine and only the working bowl broken (plastic). This one is as easy to use as the first, and very efficient. My veggies and pie doughs have been just right. I still have some other blades to try but so far, this is just what I wanted. Great quality and excellent value.

After 40 years, my Cuisinart bowl failed and couldn't be replaced. The moyir woukf have ladyed forever. With fee improvements, the new model seems evrn better than my first.

There were no instructions on how to assemble the unit or how to dice or complete some of the options available. Nothing online at their website. I called customer service and they said training videos were in transition and to search utube for help. I've had Cuisart food processor for over 20 years. I'm very disappointed with this purchase

I had an original Cuisinart processor and the knob to secure the bowl finally broke so I had to buy a new one. This one fits all my old blades, bowls, etc. I reduced the star by one because the parts on this one sound like they are thinner plastic so I don't expect it to last as long as the original.

My old cuisinart was a lot easier to use and im afraid that this one will not last as long as the old one did; small plastic parts that might break easily.

The first one survived decades of regular use. I hope this new one holds up as well. This is my go to kitchen tool. I use it for everything, even when not called for in recipes.

I purchased the Cuisinart Pro Custom 11 Food Processor to replace the same Cuisinart 11-cup food processor that I have had for over 20 years. It is still working but the work bowl feeder was starting to crack so I decided to replace the whole thing instead of just that part. I have all of the DLC-8 discs from the old one which also fit the new model so that was a big factor in making my decision. This is a fantastic product that I use all the time for so many types of food preparation such as slicing, chopping, mixing, grating, shredding, etc. This model no longer comes with a dough mixing blade like the old one did but you can use the chopping blade instead for most dough recipes. Or, if you're like me, just use your stand mixer for that task. This is an integral part of my kitchen that I cannot live without, and I highly recommend it for its powerful strength, dependability, versatility and convenience.
