In black and stainless, this stylish thermal coffee maker from Cuisinart is classic in design. It's fully automatic with a 24-hour programmable dial. Set it and it begins brewing before you wake up. The 12-cup, stainless steel carafe is insulated with double-walls to keep your just-brewed coffee hot. A patented Brew Through and Pour Through lid keeps cooler air out and hot coffee fresh for hours. During brewing, sneak a cup if you want. the Brew Pause feature interrupts brewing for just a moment. When brewing is complete, the coffee maker automatically shuts itself off and sounds a "beep". With this coffee machine, you also get an easy-to-see water level indicator for accurate filling. Instruction book included.

I am somewhat disappointed in the coffee maker's operation: 1. the coffee isn't hot enough 2. the thermal carafe always drips and leaks when I pour the coffee 3. the brew isn't strong enough when I use beans instead of ground coffee.

Beats the carafe out of every other maker!

The 12-cup thermal carafe ensures your coffee stays perfect for several hours, even as the amount within gets smaller. We've got several such carafes so we can make and serve large numbers of guests without pouring pots into carafes. Great time saver while brewing, as needed, fresh and delicious coffee!

We needed to replace an older Cuisinart coffeemaker that we had had for years. This model is pretty basic, and very easy to program. We were looking for a thermal carafe and must say that this one keeps the coffee hot for hours. Perfect for our use.

This is the third coffeemaker we've bought, we like it so much - perhaps over a ten year period. We like the metal carafe most and the amount of coffee that it can make - it's just right for us to make one pot in the morning. The whole item is high though, so it won't fit anywhere. We've always found a place for it and it fits our present house nicely. The coffee is great and stays warm a long time. We just started using the programable timer in this new machine and find it very useful.

This coffeemaker replaced one that had lasted over 14 years. Fortunately this one is identical to the old one. So far, it works as expected.

_{Asked by Peggy} 9 years ago: Open Reply - In-House ExpertTo Program the Brew Time 1. To program the brew time, press and hold the PROG button for two seconds. The "prog" symbol starts flashing in the lower right corner of the LCD screen. 2. Press the HOUR button to advance the clock to the desired time. The hour numeral moves in one-hour increments. When numeral passes 12 am, the PM indicator will illuminate in the lower left corner of the LCD screen. 3. Press the MINUTE button to advance the minutes to the desired time. Minutes move in one-second increments. 4. When complete, press the PROG button, or wait for 15 seconds and your set time will be accepted. Please read the booklet page 6.
