    This was an open box item so anything I comment on here may not reflect one of these purchased new, but here goes. The box was more than open, it was destroyed, and although all of the contents were present, the remote was smashed beyond repair. The soundbar itself also had a damaged optical audio port and I have to use tape to keep the cable plugged in. Now on to the sound quality and features. I have a cheap 4k smart tv and this soundbar is marginally better than the built-in speakers. Its not very loud at all and only has a few EQ presets, none of which offer a full rich 2.1 experience like I was hoping for. If I am watching a movie with loud explosions, this thing distorts and crackles and rattles bad. Overall I find it quite underwhelming and dont even bother turning it on half the time. #sweepstakes

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

    Good sound most of the time, but when linking to a TV, the sound is way over modulated and distorts badly. The remote control is also all but useless...some buttons don't work most of the time and you have to be very close to the unit for it to work most of the time. I would not repurchase this item...it needs some serious work.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
