I bought my second EC155 model low cost espresso machine a little over a year ago. I use it every day and love it's design and the simplicity of use.
My only real complaint is that when the machine is on and has reached temperature and pressure it tends to drip from the frothing nozzle. Many times I will set it up, turn it on, and walk away to go to get my kids up. By the time I return there is usually a puddle by the machine (the frothing wand will not stay over the tray).
In fact that is the main reason I bought a replacement model, because my first one did that as well. I suppose I could have purchased a newer design and slightly upgraded feature set, but I really enjoy the versatile portafilter.
I have done some digging and found that the most likely problem is an O-ring in the steam control valve stem, but accessing the part does not seem to be easy.

This is a ok unit. It does the job it is supposed to (making a shot of espresso) but it falls short in a few ways. The size is small - so I cannot actual fit a normal mug under it if I want to make a latte or a cappuccino in a mug... I need to use a little espresso cup and then pour it over. Not the end of the world, but an unconvinced nonetheless. Like how hard would it be to have just made the space 2 cm taller? Also the milk frother works fine, but the plastic nozzle feel a bit rinky dink and it didn't come with a jug (you need to buy that separate).
I bought this b/c the online review reviews said it was a solid, simple, and straightforward unit. Nothing fancy, but a solid starter machine (which is all I need). So, it works fine. No complaints there. I just wished they would have thought through use and customer needs a bit more.
