The Dyson Airwrap i.d. Multi-Styler & Dryer Straight+Wavy in Ceramic Pink/Rose Gold is a connected styling system designed to dry, curl, shape, smooth, and reduce flyaways while minimizing reliance on extreme heat. It combines the Dyson digital motor V9, Coanda airflow styling, intelligent heat control, Bluetooth connectivity, personalized i.d. curl routines through the MyDyson app, negative-ion technology, three airflow speeds, three heat settings, and six intelligent styling attachments in a single multi-styling platform.
The Airwrap i.d. uses the Coanda effect to attract and wrap hair around compatible barrels and brush surfaces using high-velocity airflow rather than relying primarily on high-temperature styling. The Dyson digital motor V9 uses a 13-blade impeller that spins at up to approximately 110,000 rpm, generating the air pressure required for Coanda styling.
Intelligent heat control measures airflow temperature more than 40 times per second and adjusts the heating element to help prevent excessive heat exposure during styling. Negative ions in the airflow also help reduce static for a smoother finish.
Bluetooth connectivity allows the Airwrap i.d. to pair with the MyDyson app, where users can create a personalized hair profile and configure an i.d. curl routine. Once configured, the system can automate portions of the curling sequence to provide more consistent wrapping, styling, and setting.
The system provides three precise airflow speeds and three heat settings, plus a cold-shot function that immediately deactivates the heating element to provide cooler air for setting a finished style.
This Straight+Wavy configuration includes six intelligent styling attachments along with a filter cleaning brush and presentation case. The Ceramic Pink/Rose Gold finish combines a soft pink body with metallic rose-gold accents.
