Goodbye traditional analog controls. The Debut S12EQ subwoofer incorporate an advanced digital control system. Simply download the ELAC SubEQ app for your IOS or Android smartphone and you will have complete control. No more fumbling around the back of the subwoofer. Utilizing the ELAC Sub Control app and your smartphone's microphone, the S12EQ subwoofer will automatically equalize to your room's characteristics using a 12-band parametric equalizer. Full manual EQ is available as well.

Subwoofer Control
All of the traditional analog controls of a subwoofer have been replaced with our ELAC Sub Control APP for IOS, Android, and FireOS. Now you can make adjustments from your listening position. No more searching for controls behind the sub every time you want to make an adjustment.

Automatic Subwoofer EQ
Utilizing the ELAC Sub Control app and your smartphone's microphone, both the S10EQ and S12EQ subwoofers will automatically equalize to your room's characteristics using a 12-band parametric equalizer.

BASH (Bridged Amplifier Switching Hybrid) amplifiers, introduced in the mid 1990s as a 'best of both worlds' solution for subwoofer amplification, combine the sound quality of Class AB with the efficiency of a Class D amplifier. While a Class AB amp uses fixed supply voltage regardless of input signal, BASH uses power supply modulation to track the input signal, supplying only the necessary voltage to its Class AB amp. The latest BASH technology has gone through three core evolutions and is further refined in these latest ELAC Debut subwoofers.
