I purchased two of these to see if they could replace a traditional home stereo (source -> amp -> passive speakers). While they sound good overall, they don't match the imaging or dynamics of a standard set up. I also had problems with the speakers continually losing network connection. #sweepstakes

I bought two of these to use as stereo pair to see if they could replace a traditional stereo system. While they sound good overall and can get quite loud without distorting, they don't compare to a standard system, especially in terms of imaging and dynamics. They are very easy to set up, but I also had issues with them regularly losing network connection, which makes them unusable. To be fair, I'm not sure if that issue was the network's fault or the speakers, although I don't have similar problems with other devices in our home. For what it's worth, I didn't try out the speakers via the 3.5 mm line in, but that's a nice feature to have available. #sweepstakes
