We got it for cheap from Facebook Marketplace and expected it to be great. Well, it's better than vacuuming all the time. We have it set to once a day, but TBH it kinda sucks, and we are probably gonna get a newer one. It also never learns where ANYTHING is; it says it maps quickly, and it still doesn't work right and acts kinda stupid, and straight lines, oh boy, it veers slightly right (but I think that has to do with the previous owner), and it does not run in straight lines at all.

It started working great. Then kept getting issues with charging and going back to the dock. Now it won't charge at all saying there is a charging error no matter what I do to readjust it.

I got it from a friend as a gift. Used it for a while, and now it is only moving at one place in spite of cleaning. I have changed it the bin and
brushes but that money was also waste. Now I am returning it for some credit. But, I'll try another company this time.

Waste of money...I got the 675 model as a Christmas present. It only vacuums the same spot over and over again. And all the dog hair from the hardwood floors gets blown onto the rug. I had to give it a 1 rating but it should be 0. It has been vacuuming for over an hour and is now on its way back to the charging station. I am doubtful it will make it.

Official Response by iRobot
Hi Pepper, we apologize for the inconvenience that was caused, and we would be happy to assist you with resolving the issue.

I have a small apartment but I use model 677 everyday sometimes twice a day. I've been buying iRobot rumbas for quite some time This is my fourth one. Three in USA this one I purchased in Costa Rica but it lives in Lima Peru. This one is not the best one I've owned. Occasionally it has trouble docking. Is its approaching It gears down to a slower speed and it jerks left and right left and right All the way to the base. I believe it should adjust left and right and at some point it has to decide it's on target and go straight in with no more adjusting A lot of times it gets into the dock as it's turning to adjust misses the point of contact and then tries to turn around and approach again. None of my other roombas seem to have ever had trouble docking.
I have always had a battery-powered Dyson or similar handheld vacuum to vacuum out the filter and the bin of the Roomba after each clean I'm curious to see how much it picked up and it will work much more efficiently the next time if it's filter is clean.
It may sound like a lot of work but it's better than vacuuming the house.

I bought model 675 a couple years ago but only used it for one year. I was working two jobs and i would set it up at arround 2pm (so i would come back and ear it do the "help mee!" if he was stuck which... Was happening quite a lot. Tongs, socks, carpet, chager, ect. Would take it and go hide to some places with it. Worst place it got stock was under the couch... What a chance i am young and my couch was light. I named it Cleany. Cleany would eat the charging cable wire and hide under the bed or he would go in the bathroom and eat the carpet. Weirdest was when i was receiving "help cleany is stuck on a cliff" as a notification. Coming back to him being on the living room carpet which is 1in thick. The carpet is variations of dark and light blue and sometimes i would look at cleany avoiding the carpet then go on when the paturn was light then never getting off. Thus said... With two cockatiels he was still really usefull even though i needed to buy a hand vacuum for the spots cleany couldn't reach

So. Day 1. Nothing good to report. Leaves dog hair barely picks up much of anything. But whatever. Typically scammed by tech industry.
At least it's piled for a actual vacuum to clean up

Roomba cleans REALLY REALLY well on my kitchen tile and laminate floors in the rest of my house. I have it scheduled to clean Mon-Fri at 9am. However, I get alerts at work with "place roomba on dock" "low battery" 4 out 10 times it's able to charge itself but most times I need to manually place it back on the charging dock and have to maneuver it for a couple of minutes to get it to charge.

I use the iRoomba 675 for the laminate floors in my home. I'm using it on only 1000 sq ft of my home. It vacuums the same area over and over again. It won't move to the next room. It misses spots. There's no mapping feature to use in certain rooms. The only thing positive I can say is what debris it picks up, it does well. It's a shame it doesn't get all the debris.
