Won't print. Laptop tells me that the printer is working correctly but it gives an error code of 0x97 every time I try to print. The diagnostic says "remove paper jam". There is no paper jam. The screen says "Turn the power off and on again", which I do and it starts all over again. Most unhappy with it

I bought this printer over a year ago and it has been a joy to own. It has one weakness only, the colour on Google maps does not print well on standard settings so alot of information is difficult to read. Buy the largest black cartridge and it lasts for 1000s of pages. The printer was not designed for ultra high quality photographs but normal prints are good. It is very reliable and has given me very few problems construction is robust and functional. A very good all in one printer.

The printer worked well to start with - though the inks were constantly running out despite only home use - and I always used the Epson ink, but after a year the printing quality deteriorated rapidly and the yellow stopped working completely. Cleaning the print heads made no difference. This is unfortunately the worst printer I have ever bought. I would not buy again from Epson.

Bought this printer because I had heard it would be reliable. I have been stuck with an "0x97" error after about 8 months of owning it- tried multiple attempts to fix from stuff posted online, but it appears to be a primary mechanical failure of some type. Unfortunately it is extremely difficult to get any help with it. Would recommend against anyone buying this product strongly.

It seems that ink jet printers are designed to be replaced every couple of years, and the manufacturers pricing policies encourage that. I have only used Epson inks cartridges, i.e. I have avoided cheaper "compatibles", but still I have streaks across the printing which no amount of running the cleaning function can solve. Why don't they design them in such a way that you can remove the heads and apply a solvent, or sell replacement heads that cost significantly less than buying a completely new printer?

Will not print with just black cartridge, then will not work over Wi-Fi. It does not allow any you to carry on, it wants you to purchase their ink or the machine stops dead. Epson call it maintenance, I feel it is more like corporate extortion.

I have two of these machines now and both have developed the same fault of one ink not printing after a few months it apparently is unrepairable Epson are not interested as after the first replacement it is now out of warranty although it is only a few months old I know its a manufacturer fault as someone in the shop was complaining of the same fault.

I've had the WF-3620DWF for a couple of months now and am of the opinion this is the best printer I have ever owned. Easy to set up, I had the printer up and running in less than 10 minutes. The print quality is good for everyday use - I haven't had a need to try the higher quality settings yet. Still using the 'trial' inks so clearly I'm not a big print user. The scanning capability is excellent, especially the duplex scanning feature. Being in the middle of a major scanning exercise, switching to this duplex scanner has saved me hours already and the bundles Presto software supports PDF merging, unbundling and reordering. Similarly copying using the document feeder is extremely easy and good quality. Can't really comment on the fax function as I've not yet had need to use it. All in all, an excellent printer and available at a good value for money price.
