Easy to set up from the box and connect wirelessly. After that, I'm lost. How do I enlarge or shrink? How do I print lighter or darker? It's not intuitive, no printed instruction manual was included, and online instructions are inscrutable. What a mess! I deeply regret this purchase.

This is a great printer. The fact that it saves you money on ink because it has the eco ink tank is the best.

I bought this 3 months ago. I cannot copy on it. I just downloaded new drivers hoping this would correct the problem. It keeps telling me that the paper source setting is invalid. I have followed directions many times to correct the setting, but it does not reset the paper size. I don't know what else to do. It also does not have a copy preview for me to look at before I print either. Not happy with this printer.

I bought this a month ago and within two days I had to contact customer support. If you hookup a phone line it will screw up the setup. Once support guided me through the process it was easy. Paper jams are common, particularly on the rear paper feed. To copy a document is not an easy process. Scanning is also a similar challenge and my advice is to use your on screen programming vs the printer menus. The ink system is fabulous although a little challenging to figure out how much remains. Always run it as low as possible or you will be wasting. They caution you not to run it dry.

Bought it for a portable "movie night" system- Impressive!

I bought this unit as part of my fully portable video system. I've used nearly every brand of audio-visual products in my 25 years of work as a public school district electronic technician. Epson has regularly produced some of the better quality projectors, and if you are seeking one with a specific feature, you're sure to find something in this line. Like I said, I was building a fully portable setup to use for movie night with my daughter's soccer team. I use a Gemmy 123 x 70 screen, and a Sony SR510H player. The Sony is not true 1080p, but it has HDMI for video and L/R analog audio outs, which I needed, because I connect this to a set of full-range powered loudspeakers for boosting the sound to match the high-quality projected image! This Epson puts out great colors, both primary and secondary, right out of the box (although I did tweak the saturation levels to my taste). The picture is sharp all the way out to the edges, and in a low light environment, the dark scenes have plenty of contrast to bring out the images. As a professional technician, I can tell you the audience was happy. How do I know? The kids became quiet during the movie. The adults could easily see/hear the show from over 40 feet away. That's 3 dozen people in one backyard. I would not hesitate to recommend this Epson for either a budget or a mid-level system. I saw no advantage to spending several hundred dollars more for a true 1080p projector, UNLESS you have a collection of Blu-Ray movies and a player to match. In my case, I get requests from others to play their disc, and most are simple widescreen discs. Bottom line, no one but a movie snob will notice the difference, or care.
