Good little tracker, does well with steps and stairs. Not the most accurate at tracking sleep, I have a low resting heart rate so when I am relaxing it tracks I'm sleeping. Battery dies within a few days. A little tricky to use and not the easiest to get messages and calls on. Will give to my 11 year old daughter. For the price it was a steal! #sweepstakes

The Garmin fitness tracker was shipped quickly and it replaced another Garmin tracker. The new one, Garmin Vivosmart 3, has much better technology and I am very pleased: tracks heart rate, smart notifications, appends sleep time (if I woke up, the other tracker restarted my sleep time and this one accumulates), has more data reported more simply through Garmin Connect. This is a great product and I bought a second one for my sister.

I bought the Vivosmart3 at a good price to replace my previous health tracker watch. I like the style and the size of this watch. However, there are major issues with the app that don't seem to be resolved. I have an iPhone XR, but when reading the customer service forum page, I see the same issues with different phone users. The sleep tracker is not sensitive enough. The steps and heart rate monitor seem OK. I don't use all the features. The wrist turn doesn't seem to work. The battery does not last long, only a couple days. I shut my phone off at night, and each morning I have to turn the bluetooth off then on again for the watch to sync to the phone. This has been an ongoing issue for quite a while, yet Garmin says they are working on it. There are many complaints about this. If I had spent more than I did for this watch, I would return it.

Like that it fits my small wrist great. It's easy to work. It is a bit hard to read. Would have liked the notice to be a tad larger. Charging is a bit tweaky. If the prongs are completely touching back of watch it will not charge. I didn't want a big watch and only cared about tracking my activity even though this watch does a lot for the price. Would give a 4 if if wasn't for the small readout.

If an ANT+ heart rate monitor is connected to your Vivofit or Vivosmart activity, you can sync the data with your Garmin Connect account, and if enabled sync this data with your Strava account.
