Pros: Works good for my laptop that is on Windows 8. Cons: For some reason the audio is not working on monitor if I connect my laptop that is on Windows 10. I hope hp fixes this issue. Other thoughts:

Pros: It's big and has great color, easy to set up and firm on it's stand. I already had one of these and wanted to run a 2nd monitor so I figured it best policy to stick with the same model. The view is great and you get really good sound volume out of this speaker. Cons: As a second monitor I haven't figured out how to get the sound playing out of both monitor's speakers. Other thoughts: This monitor model is being discontinued by HP, not sure if they are doing another version of it in it's size. But I had to buy it through Buydig.com because it is already off of the HP store.

When researching monitors for my new desktop, this monitor's deep list of features immediately caught my attention. A 24-inch IPS display, built-in Beats Audio, and multiple connections (with the cables provided# were enough to convince me to buy it. After using it for a month or so, I can confirm that the monitor has lived up to its billing. Easily the coolest feature so far has been the built-in audio, which is of good sound quality #it can also crank the volume# and has freed up precious desk space by allowing me to avoid separate speakers. The built-in volume dial and quick mute are also quite useful. The super-thin, glossy bezel, nice stand finish, and subtle but present branding (BeatsAudio, Envy, and HP) logos are very visually appealing, and have garnered compliments from everyone I have shown it to. Of course, the most important function of a monitor is how the display performs, and this monitor has a great display. The IPS feature and high resolution rating combine to provide a great display for internet browsing and videos, and the screen size is just right- not too big to seem out of place or to be a strain on your eyes, but not too small either. I've played a couple of graphics-intensive games on it as well, and the monitor has provided a great display for those games. As mentioned, the many different connection ports are a plus as well. I am using the HDMI port, but the provided MHL and VGA/DVI lend the monitor much versatility. On its own, this monitor is an excellent choice for both value-seekers and those in search for a high-quality product. But, especially compared to other products, this monitor is a great buy.

I really like this monitor. Delivery time was great. Just plugged it in and went to work. Great picture, and great audio. Had to learn how to adjust volume but no problem. Good sized display with edge toedge and speakers across bottom it is compact. Customer service was good also.

I recently purchased this monitor to upgrade an older HP 25 inch LED monitor. The pros = edge to edge display, many hookups / ports / built in speakers / FULL HD display. The only con I have is somewhat minor (the speaker bar built in) in photos appears silver online but is actually white in person. I would have preferred silver. Also - make sure to check the build quality of your speaker grill as mine is slightly off where it meets the bottom of the glass. All in all - not bad.
