Bought this to replace an older laptop. Both have SSD but this Probook is a screamer. Paired it with a 40" monitor and what an experience. So much lighter than the previous laptop.

After having two Toshiba laptops in a row (one was great and the second not so much), I went with HP. I had purchased an HP color laser jet printer and loved it, so figured why not? I'm sooooooo glad I did! It is so fast and I have absolutely no negatives to report. Also love the fingerprint scanner. I highly recommend this laptop. I had read that the fan was noisy but the sales rep I spoke to said it had been fixed, and she was right! Quiet, efficient........did I mention I love it?? Don't hesitate to get one for yourself.

Performance is good. Lacks an additional USB port and power port should be on the left not on the right. Fan is noisy, very noisy, performance is good as expected for the price.

Had this up and running about a month. everything I expect from a laptop. was pleasantly surprised that screen is as clear as it is; my eyes are much happier than with old ProBook 4540. Annoyances: 1) all ports on right, I use mouse on left. Usually work with papers on right, so network cords and power etc all in way now. 2) Fan is way too noisy with coil whine. I make jokes about when the laptop will be taxiing for takeoff. But those are my only gripes.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I bought this to replace another HP machine that was under warranty but had many problems. I was VERY disappointed that you did not give me a replacement machine but I could not wait the weeks it takes to repair so I was forced to buy a new one. So far I am not impressed. The fan is very load and both my wired and wireless mouse experience delays. I might be sending this back.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
