I was very disappointed in this product. First of all, it was apparently damaged during shipment and had to be returned. The process to return it was hectic and confusing, but with the help of and I had to return it. Secondly, this item is much heavier than I imagined. (Contour Silver Gray)

I have had my other kitchen aid for 35 years. I love that mixer. My mother insisted I get a new one after all these years. The first one is a tank. The new machine is slow to start and doesn't sound like it is running right. I also bought a bowl cove, the only one that says will fit and it doesn't seal like the old or did for storage in the fridge. It does mix very well and it did get the job done. I just have to get used to it

First time using and it stopped working. Nothing wrong with the outlet waited the 30 minutes and still nothing. Should've listened to the reviews and bought something else.

I have never had such a nice and beautiful mixer. I have limped along for 50+ years of cooking and baking, mixing by hand or using a hand-held mixer. This works so well, and would help any older person with the tasks that used to be a lot easier. As a younger person who cooked a lot, this would have been phenomenal as well. The milkshake color is absolutely beautiful, and with a little sliding tray underneath it (found a perfect one on Amazon), it slides very easily from underneath the cupboards above it, and pushes back just as easily. I would highly recommend this mixer to anyone who cooks and bakes a lot. It really is a must-have appliance, and KitchenAid makes the very best!
