High quality display but some issues with old software compatibility - causing odd type sizes and screen blackouts for a few seconds. Important that all your software is checked for compatibility with a 4K display. Pity to have to use it at a lower than native resolution!

Great colour, brightness and contrast. 4K resolution combined with 27" size makes software development a pleasure. I would not have survived 7 months (so far) of COVID lockdown with my sanity without it! (Not to mention the OLED55BX9 downstairs)

I have owned this monitor since upgrading my pc hardware last year and it is fantastic. The screen is so clear and I always get comments on the quality and you can really tell!

I bought a pair of LG 27UD59 monitors for my workstation and they have not disappointed. The monitors offer IPS image quality, 4K UHD resolution at a 27" size that is an ideal PPI such that I can still see the pixels (just barely). They have improved my productivity drastically, allowing me to fit more windows comfortably on the screen. The units also feature FreeSync capability, although with a limited refresh rate range. The downsides are mainly a lack of HDR (you wouldn't expect it for the price), basic stand with only minor tilt adjustment, slightly finnicky power/menu switch and almost-needless window organisation app (which I'd advise users to ignore unless they're running an older OS that doesn't allow you to snap and arrange windows already).

This is a great monitor! The color and clarity are great. It was easy to setup, and I would buy it again! Everyone in my office wants one.

This 4K Monitor is awesome! My very first monitor and it comes with 2 decent speakers. I didn't know monitors come with speakers. It can pivot in different directions. I mainly use my for my PS4 and the colours are wonderful!

It's not perfect but it's a very affordable UHD display. I use this as a secondary display to my iMac. All the visually important stuff goes on the iMac screen, and secondary stuff on goes on the LG. Please be advised that only an HDMI port/cable compatible with 4K @ 60Hz allows you to take advantage of the LG OnScreen controls and the Mac OS resolution scaler. You will need the right cable or dongle.
