Combined with one of LG's netoworked Blu-ray players it is fantastic! More options than you can think of and plays everyting excellent. The sound isnt great out of the TV but hook it up to surround sound and its excellent. Buy the surround sound bundle with LG networked Blue ray player and this cant be beat!

It is unbelieveable the lack of any glare under direct sunlight on this TV. We could not even see our 2001 36' Toshiba in the mornings, with the sunlight hitting it. This is all besides the fact that THE PICTURE IS GREAT. However there was not a sensor on the box, as stated.

The voice enhancement feature works well. It's not a thin set (about 4.5 inches thick) by today's standard, but if one doesn't plan to hang it on the wall it shouldn't matter. Standard definition viewing, for the most part, looks better than on a standard definition tube set. Occassionally, the mosquito effect can be seen around fast moving objects on broadcast video, but this is probably more of an issue with the video compression of the source signal than with the TV. I have seen this effect on other high end sets, and I think it is a limitation of the digital technology. I have watched several HD hockey games on the set, and the video was virtually flawless. For the price, this is one of the best sets out there.
