    The good

    With the exception of other 2016 OLED TVs, the LG E6 outperforms every other TV we've tested. It evinced perfect black levels, wide viewing angles, accurate color and a brighter picture than last year. It's compatible with both types of HDR TV shows and movies, Dolby Vision and HDR10. Its striking design features a super-slim, glass-bordered panel.

    The bad

    The E6 is more expensive than the B6, which performs about the same.

    The bottom line

    Unless you have even more money to burn than the typical OLED TV shopper, you should choose the less expensive version of this TV.

    This is a fantastic TV for anyone who prioritizes picture quality and wants a smart, user-friendly experience. It's not the cheapest option, but the premium picture quality and features justify the price for me. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! If you're looking for a top-of-the-line OLED TV with excellent picture quality, smart features, and good gaming performance, the LG E6 is a great choice. Again, not the cheapest in the market, but a great return to your investment.

    Purchased this 55 inch OLED TV in 2017 and after only 5 years of use the pixels are worn out and distorted in color,... things that should be yellow appear green in the shape of an upside down T in the middle of the screen. I paid an extremely high price for this supposed top of the line TV and am very disappointed that it barely lasted 5 years. Contacted LG customer service and they would not do a thing. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

    Poor in bright rooms, streaming services a battle

    There are two areas this TV fails in and maybe there is a fix someone can recommend. 1) In a bright room, you can see anything. Just too dark and all I can do is set the brightness to 90%. Look terrible. 2) I use Comcast for cable and when I try and switch to a streaming service like Netflix, it jumps back to Comcast. It's like a fight to keep on going back to Netflix. Eventually Netflix will run, but this is extremely annoying. And to be clear, it's any of the streaming services

    We weren't sure about paying the extra $ for OLED but I'm glad we did. We bought this two months ago to replace our living room TV where we still had a decent 7 year old LG TV. I was skeptical at the cost and how much better the picture would be. I'm happy to be wrong. It's really incredible. The TV sounds is decent on its own and I would be OK with it but we went ahead and connected a sound bar and is even better. I do hate the menu and remote. I miss the old remote and many which were much similar and easier to navigate. We don't use voice assistants so we are sick with the remote and the buttons are not user friendly or intuitive, we frequently end up hitting the wrong button when trying to select on the menu. The mouse feature is frustrating and I wish we could turn it off. The menu, you are stuck with 10 apps you'll probably never use and a bunch of annoying ads and have not figured out of we can simplify it to only show the 4 apps we actually need.

    TV is 5 or 6 yrs old. Great picture, excellent on sports motion and easy a cess toapps and settings, but about 3 yrs ago developed bad burn ins that would not clean up with built-in cleaning app. Contacted LG too late and they will not fix. Also would not run Paramount+ without casti g.

    Love my new TV's bought a 65" and 55" for my new home. Best picture I ever had. You do get a little glare if sun is hitting the TV directly. Remote is easy to use with some cool ways to work the smart apps
