    Great picture, sound, looks great on the wall but we HATE the remote. Maybe we're just too old but the buttons are so small and so difficult to read in the dark you need to turn on the lights & get your glasses to navigate the controls. The center enter button is very touch sensitive and - well we are over 50 so unfortunately that also is a challenge.

    Bought this tv July 2024 and so not even 2 years with it and the screen does not stay on. When I try to turn it on it just shows two white lines and after 5 seconds it shuts off.

    The brightest brights and darkest darks. Seriously, it takes about 6 months to get used to the realistic lighting. Visually stunning movies like Rebel Moon, it's like seeing it for the first time. I watched Chapelwaite and could not get over the dark gloomy feel along with the bright candle lighting and moody skies look fantastic. There is just not enough content to satisfy all craving for this eye candy.

    Absolutely dismal reliability and an insultingly short warranty period. I liked it while it worked. It checked all the boxes feature-wise and had a good panel. But it only took a dismal 15 months to fail completely, suddenly failing to boot up one day. The warranty for this TV was, at the time of purchase, 12 months. Looking online, I found that this issue has become shockingly common, with these TVs often failing just months after their warranties expire. Never have I owned a TV that didn't last at least ten years... until now. If you read this and still are dead-set on getting an LG TV, buy the extended warranty and expect to use it, as I was ghosted after being offered a "courtesy repair" out of warranty.

    I've had the TV for only 1.5 years and it just blew up on me. Fizzling/popping sounds and will no longer power on. Nothing wrong with my outlets/circuits. Tested them with other devices... I called LG and they told me nothing they can do being that its over a year old. This was my 3rd LG and they just lost a customer for life.

    I had this TV for six months and it developed a line through it. Then it would shut off randomly most times you could turn it right back on but it quit it completely quit working 3 months ago. I talked with an LG rep and said it was out of warranty by two months. I should have called when I first noticed an issue. Seems like I'm stuck with an expensive TV that doesn't work. I'm disappointed in this TV but blame myself for not calling in sooner. If you notice an issue please call LG at the first sign of an issue.

    While picture is wonderful, this set has many shortcomings. It requires that you unplug the set in order to reset it after being unable to connect to apps. This happens multiple times each week. The smart controller is not user friendly and very hard to learn how to accomplish the most simple tasks. Do nit plan on purchasing another LG.

    I now have significant image retention after only a year and a half of use. I follow the exact same viewing habits on my 2017 OLED--which still performs perfectly--so there's no excuse for this kind of degradation from a flagship LG display. My usage has been very light: just 1 to 2 hours of varied news content, 4 to 5 days a week. then 1 to 2 hours/day of varied content the rest of the time. All OLED care settings are turned on and I have never used the TV at max brightness. Pixel cleaning helped slightly but did not solve the problem. This level of performance is completely unacceptable for a premium television in this price range. I contacted LG several weeks ago and have received no response. Yes, the picture quality was excellent, until the screen became unusable. But what's the point of a high-end TV if you're afraid to use it because the pixels degrade so quickly? Sadly, I regret my purchase.

    I was a fan of LG products but am no longer. I purchased my TV approximately 2 years ago and after minimal use it has stopped working. Unfortunately I have two other OLED TV units in my home and I wonder if they will have the same fate? I have NEVER in my sixty years had a TV quit on me, I always replaced them to keep up with advances in technology.

    Does the LG G3 55" OLED include aTSC 3.0 tuner

According to the manufacturer, there are three built-in tuners in this LG OLED evo C3 Class 4K Smart TV 2023, an ATSC 1.0 tuner, an NTSC-M tuner and a 64 & 256 QAM tuner. The 64 & 256 QAM tuner is the cable equivalent of an ATSC tuner which receives over-the-air digital channels broadcast by local television stations. You still need the cable set-top box for scrambled (encrypted )channels. LG TVs can scan for both ATSC Over-the-Air and QAM cable channels as well as any analog TV channels.
