I recently added the LG S90TY soundbar to my setup and it's been a fantastic upgrade, especially paired with my LG TV. The setup was genuinely simple. I connected it via HDMI eARC, and it was up and running in minutes. Thanks to the WOW Orchestra feature, the TV speakers and soundbar work together to create a much fuller, more immersive sound. It makes a big difference, especially when watching movies or anything with a cinematic soundtrack. I also love that I can control everything with my LG TV remote. The sound quality is excellent, dialogue is super clear, and the bass adds a nice punch without being overwhelming. If I had one wish, it's that it came with rear speakers to enhance the surround sound experience, that would have really made it a complete home theater system. Even without them, this soundbar really delivers. Overall, I'm really happy with the S90TY. It's a great match for my TV and sounds amazing. I have tried every conceivable way to get my S95TR working properly. HDMI from the bar to eARC port on my LG G5 OLED, also tried optical connection, and the wireless option. No matter what I do or how I change the settings the sound this bar emits is entirely hollow and tinny. Voices sound extremely bright and the constant giant fluctuation of volume throughout most programs is driving my better half insane. In order to hear normal voices you have to turn it way up… first action scene and you are forced to manually adjust the volume way back down. This is further complicated by the new remote included with the LG G5 which mutes the program entirely when you hold the volume down button for more than 2 seconds. WoW orchestra does not improve anything and as far as I can tell the TV's native speakers do not emit any sound when this feature is enabled which is a shame because the built in speakers in the G5 sound fantastic when compared to the soundbar alone. I wish the soundbar added to rather than replaced the TVs sound output but alas no it does not. I wish I had something better to say about the S95TR but I woefully regret this purchase and now my only hope is for a firmware update that fixes this untunable audio nightmare.

Regular TV sounds better than this bar. After AI calibration you cannot hear the surround sounds or sub. You are forced to download an app in order to use the product. I received this product free with my TV and it is was a waste of technology and materials. The design is nice but quality is non-existent.

If you're looking for an upgrade from basic stereo speakers, the LG S90TY soundbar is worth a look. I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I love how immersive the sound feels. The simulated surround sound is impressive and creates a cinematic experience especially for movies and gaming. It's not a true surround sound system, so if that's important to you, I definitely recommend picking up the optional wireless rear speakers. Bluetooth connectivity is solid and pairing with my phone was easy. The integration with LG TVs is smooth, and you get extra features like being able to utilize your TV speakers as part of the system. One thing to note is that I had a bit of signal interference at first because my subwoofer was too close to a Wi-Fi extender. Once I moved it a few feet away, the issue was gone. I purchased the LG S90TY soundbar to put on our bedroom and connect to our LG TV. We had been looking to enhance our listening experience since we watch most movies and TV shows in our bedroom. We've been utilizing the TV speakers but the soundbar has been an incredible addition to our movie watching! We are able to hear the sound clearly and it has enhanced how we watch movies. We've also been able to listen to music in our bedroom through the soundbar and its been pretty impressive! I can't recommend this soundbar enough. I've been using this soundbar for couple of days, and I am impressed. The sound quality is very clear, and deep bass. Dialogue in drama is much easier to hear, and music sound effect is cinematic. Great value for the money, I recommend it.
