Bought this in 2019 Nov, and few months ago started randomly off, and just before this Xmas, completely No Sound. Try all the reset methods and still Not working. Power ON and showing can switch to all connection mode, But NO Sound. Can't beleive the LG Sound Bar has such a Shory life.

Long term owner review, after 3+ years the soundbar has been experiencing issues with volume lowering. After some searching this seems to be a common issue with the soundbar with the fix being posted on reddit "LG SL6Y audio decreasing after 25 mins" where the PCB chip needs to be re-soldered or you can pay 1/3 price of the soundbar for a new PCB

Worked flawlessly for five years, then it didn't! Volume just kept lowering for no reason. When I turned it up it just lowered again. Purchased a new LG soundbar so we will see how that stands the test of time!

Works great untill it don't, just about at 2 years and the sound stops every 25-30 minutes, Huge pile of crap!!!!! Looking To move to another brand that may actually stand behind a product!! So many people with the same issue, unbelievable

i have had this sound bar for just over 2 years and was brilliant, and now the warranty has run out the sound dips out after 25 min i have to turn it off and back on again to get to work seems to be a common Issue and LG will not address the problem, so i will not be buying another LG product going back to Samsung or Sony

I bought this Soundbar a year and a Half ago and plays well for 15 or 20 minutes and then the Sound Fades away.

I purchased this to go w/ LG OLED to replace an older TV. Worked great for approx. 3 yrs. and a few months then began to quit proper sound output. Turn unit off and wait a few minuets turn on and it will operate for a minuets to hours then drop out again. LG web site indicated an update was need, but could not access on their website. Certainly disappointed in this unit and NO remedy from LG.

Beware of these soundbars and maybe other lg ones! This soundbar worked well until it was around 15 months old, conveniently now out of warranty. Has a known issue of the audio volume reducing after 20 minutes of use and it gets worse over time. Checked reddit to see many others having this issue and theres even reports with the newer model SL7Y. Lost all faith in LG.

I bought this with high hopes. It worked great for about a year and then every 30 minutes of in time the volume would reduce on its own. You could turn it off and back on again nd it would work for about 30 minutes again. I called LG support and they had me reset the unit back to factory settings, no help. They told me there was nothing they can do, buy a new one. Based on life I would never purchase a LG product again, I went on the web and this is a common issue with this model sound bar.
