I've been subjected to this adapter for too long. It loses connection all the time and takes forever to make one once it has it back. It's not like my signal is bad, everything else with wifi connects perfectly fine, but I can't say the same thing for this piece of garbage. Maybe this is just mine? Hopefully so for any other buyers.
Official Response by Linksys - BV
Hi, Jake,
Make sure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the Linksys WUSB6300 to work properly on your computer. Also, physical obstructions may lead to low signal connection, so it would be best if the router is within the line of sight of the computer. We can also have this checked with our Escalation Engineers by sharing this over email at LinksysCares@linksys.com with your contact info and the link of this review, for reference.

It worked great the first while, then suddenly I'm down to 1k ping on everything, and it will barely connect to my router. I installed some Chinese drivers which fixed it for 3 days, then it died again. Stay far away.

I bought this because I get a bad Wifi signal in my bedroom. My phone or any other device gets a good signal, just not my laptop. This adapter gives me worse of a connection than what I was trying to fix.

Keeps dropping connection with the internet (not with router) without any event happening. It just stops working in the middle of movie/game/download. The forums say it has something to do with the windows 10 release which happened...3 YEARS AGO.
Anyway, i got it to work stable WITHOUT installing any linksys driver on win 10 but then it only got to speeds of 3mb/s. But I can get a wireless adapter for 10 euro's for that. I want my 100mbit/sec...any support i get is about resetting routers and other bs. All my devices in the house work perfect with my wifi setup. So yeah I guess its the last time i buy anything from Linksys. It's not the first time i get problems with the quality of their products.

Worked well for 3 months. Download speed decreased to less than 1mbps while upload remained the same frequently. Eventually just stayed at 1mbps regardless on if I updated firmware, restarted, unplugged and plubbed back in.
