Mint Plus uses dry and wet cleaning cloths to sweep and mop hard surface floors. Features the Pro-Clean mopping system, improved NorthStar2 navigation and fast charging.

Compatible with the Turbo Charge Cradle and Channel 2 Cube.

The Mint Plus Automatic Floor Cleaner from Evolution Robotics keeps dust, dirt and pet hair under control for you. Designed exclusively for hard surface floors, Mint Plus sweeps and mops using dry and pre-moistened cleaning cloths.

With features like the Pro-Clean Reservoir Pad and expanded cleaning area, Mint Plus can mop further and better than ever before. And with faster charging and longer run time, Mint Plus can cover more ground more often for everyday clean floors.

Guided by the enhanced NorthStar Navigation System 2.0, Mint Plus cleans methodically by moving back and forth across open areas in straight lines, working around furniture and rugs, and cleaning along baseboards. Mint Plus?s compact design gets into tight spaces, under furniture and into other areas that are hard to reach with traditional mops and sweepers.

Mint Plus is easy to use. Simply attach your cleaning cloth of choice, choose sweep or mop and let Mint Plus clean for you. Since Mint Plus is not a vacuum, it operates quietly so you - and your pets - won't be disturbed while it cleans.

NorthStar Navigation

The NorthStar Navigation System works like an indoor GPS that helps Mint keep track of where it has been and where it needs to go. Specifically, the NorthStar Cube projects a signal that Mint uses to determine its location. Then as Mint starts cleaning, it builds a map of the area as it goes, marking walls, obstacles and drop offs as it encounters them.

Using the NorthStar Cube as a reference point, Mint can map and clean up to 800 square feet either in a large open space or by discovering adjacent rooms. In mop mode, the cleaning area is restricted to optimize cleaning while the cloth is wet.

Mint Plus Robotic Hard Floor Cleaner

Cleaning Cycle - Mint starts by cleaning open areas, moving methodically back and forth across the floor in parallel lines. As Mint encounters obstacles, it decides how to handle them - either cleaning around them and then continuing on its path or turning around, saving the area ahead for later. Periodically, Mint will return to these spots and clean them before moving on to an entirely new area.

Once Mint completes open areas, it follows with a perimeter sweep along the edges of furniture and walls for a complete clean. When Mint is finished cleaning, it returns to where it started and parks itself so you know right where to find it.

Cube-to-Cube Cleaning - With NorthStar2 Mint Plus can travel from one Cube to another to expand its dry sweeping area up to 2,000 square feet in a single cleaning cycle. Set up is easy. Simply place a Cube in the first area you?d like to clean and set additional Cubes set to different channels in other rooms or areas you'd like Mint Plus to reach. As Mint Plus encounters each new Cube it will lock on and keep building its map while it cleans.

Only on Mint Plus - Additional Cubes for Mint 4200 can be used to set up different cleaning areas in the home without having to move the Cube from place to place, but Mint 4200 cannot clean from one Cube to another automatically.

Pause / Resume - With NorthStar2 the cleaning cycle can be paused to change the cleaning cloth by pressing any button or simply picking Mint Plus up by its handle while it is cleaning. The map of area covered is retained while paused so when Mint Plus resumes cleaning it can continue cleaning areas not yet covered. Only on Mint Plus.

Quick Clean Mode - Mint Plus can be set to clean only open areas and not perform a perimeter clean so you can cover more ground more quickly. Only on Mint Plus.

Pro-Clean Reservoir Pad - The Pro-Clean Reservoir Pad dispenses liquid throughout the cleaning cycle, continually refreshing the Pro-Clean microfiber cloth with fresh fluid. The fluid reserve keeps the cloth damp so Mint Plus can mop up to 350 square feet in a single cleaning cycle.

Fibers on the re-usable Pro-Clean cloth attract and trap dirt, oils and grime from the floor, so you can clean effectively using just water or mild solutions.

I bought this thing...it won't charge...i emailed customer service, they told me to call them instead. I called them and explained the problem. they first told me to call back when i have the unit in front of me...too bad i have a job that doesn't get me home before their help line closes for the day. next they told me to record the error noise that the machine is making and to email it to them. too bad the noise only happens every few hours which i had previously explained...they thought it shouldn't be too much of a bother to sit in front of a sweeper recording it for hours. finally they said they would send me a new one, took down all my info and then told me i should return it to the store instead. helpful stuff, great product!

Great for sweeping, okay for mopping

Pros: Cons: Other thoughts: The mint is absolutely great in dry sweeping mode. It covers a really large area. I use swiffer cloths (which have a static charge), and at the end of cleaning the cloths have actually picked up more debris than I normally manage to get with my human-paced speed of pushing the swiffer around. The mint isn't a vacuum (like a roomba, which i had), so it's really quiet except for the sound of bumping into barriers. The wet mopping mode doesn't seem as good as the dry sweeping mode, but I'm hoping that i can understand the algorithm better as i use it more. In mopping mode it doesn't cover as much area (not enough to do my kitchen and dining in one go), and after I've left it to do its thing, when it has stopped moving i have to guess where its already covered before i set it to go again. Overall it's still great, and saves me lots of time.

My Favorite Appliance!!!

I don't normally write reviews, but I love the Mint Plus! I have very dark bamboo plank floors and they show every speck of dirt. This cleaner saves me so much time, and for that it's worth its weight in gold. I have used it for sweeping and it does a fine job, but I sort of enjoy sweeping the floors so I usually do that myself, then set the Mint up to mop. I have found it works best on my floors with a little vinegar mixed with water. If the sun is shining on the floor you can see the little tracks of the wheels, but if the sun isn't shining directly on them you can't really see the tracks. It leaves a beautiful sheen if you look across the floor. This is one appliance I wouldn't want to be without, and if it ever stops I'll be buying another!

This product is not great at all. It seems like a very good idea and promising. However, not durable at all. In a year we've had it returned and exchanged 3 times due to problems with the robot itself. Nothing to do with improper use, maintenance, or floors not smooth enough. We live in a small new apartment with nice tile floors and Mint just can't deliver. I am very sad because it was very convenient while it lasted. Now I can't have my money back because oh coincidence, my warranty just expired two months ago!

We moved into a barn for 18 months in Eastern Montana, using the office and tack rooms as our living space. We laid an inexpensive wood tone vinyl floor down and truly enjoyed our time there, thanks to our little Mint catching all the pet hair and wood shavings that invariably come with sharing your living space with equines. It also effectively removed the 'gumbo' clay like glue that the mud turns into in the wet Fall/Winter/Spring months in this part of the world. Our 'wood' floor looks GREAT! I ran this little guy every day (sometimes twice) for the better part of a year and he made a BIG DIFFERENCE. Ran the mopping feature every night after the sweeping cycle. So quiet. Made coffee every morning in a clean room with a spotless floor! He hiccuped once when one of his wheel coverings slid off and customer service took him back and returned him within a week (to Eastern Montana!!!) and called to tell me that sometimes certain cleaning fluids can affect the rubber on the wheels and recommended the Bona products. The tone of my customer service rep was one of a friend sharing a useful piece of information with a friend. I've had no trouble since I started using Bona. I dilute the solution and a little goes a long way. Looking forward to using him in our new home! I really enjoy this product.

I bought Mint about 3 months ago. At first time, somewhat Mint did not work properly. However, after my husband set up the machine, it started to work well. Now, I love this small machine. Very quiet and effective. I use this machine every day. Pro. Easy to use. Con, Mint stop during cleaning for out of battery.

Great with Roomba

I've had this for a couple of months now. I honestly haven't found a problem with it. I'm pretty analytical and discriminating, and I think that if you think you would appreciate this product as described, you will be pleased. I use the Mint after I use my Roomba. I have an open concept home, and my kitchen, dining, and living room are basically one room of about 800 square feet. It handles the entire area with no problem at all - wet mopping (which takes more effort for the machine.) I read some reviews that suggested the machine gave off so much water that it would be bad for hard wood floors. I'm pretty careful with things, and I really don't see this as a problem. It is just like a damp mop and it doesn't get the floor wet anywhere. I like using it in the winter to increase the humidity in the house. (Also, our dog tracks a lot.) I think in the summer it will be sufficient to use the dry setting. As an experiment, I put it in the mud room one day, and the mudroom was literally muddy. It did a fine job. Super easy to set up. You can't set it to run at some future time like you can the roomba, but that is okay because the mint is quiet.

I have great expectation about Mint, I really love my Roomba and after reading reviews about Mint it seem a great upgrade. But I found many issue. 1- Sometime Mint is completly weird (it seem stuck but robot is in middle of the room) after I start, I have to turn off and turn on. 2- I have a little (very little) "bump" for join floor between each room, so it seem it's too big because Mitn won't pass over and I have to move manually on each room, that's really :( ! 3- (second stage, 3 bedrooms) It seem if I use NorthStar I can't position Northstar correctly and Mint process my main room correctly but didn't go on child's room ! 4- (first floor) I use NorthStar on kitchen and it process kitchen very good but didn't procress more than 50% my living room. If I understand I need one (maybe 2 more Northstar +80$ Outch) when my roomba do it by itself. :( 5- It swipe one time ... no intensive cleaning it could be interessing ! 6- It seem not clean wall edge correctly, it didn't follow wall for cover all edge. So, at the end, Mint do a job but with many manuel intervention and I really dissapointed !

This product has been amazing. I have fought against dog hair with two shedding dogs in the house for yeats. I run the mint every morning before I leave for work. When I get home, I shake out the cleaning cloth and at the end of the week I wash it. I now have the excess hair in my house under control.
