Is Surface Pro 9 a laptop?

Yes, and then some. Surface Pro 9 is a 2-in-1 laptop that combines tablet portability with laptop performance. Write on the touchscreen with the pen-on-paper feel of Surface Slim Pen 2. Power Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and all of your applications with your choice of a 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i5 or i7 processor, or level up to the Microsoft SQ® 3 processor on the 5G model. Watch movies, play games, and video conference with Intel® Iris® Xe graphics (on i5 or i7) or Microsoft SQ® 3 Adreno™ 8CX Gen 3 (on 5G). Pair it with Surface Pro Signature Keyboard⁸ for instant laptop productivity. Surface Pro 9 is the 2-in-1 that can do it all.

Does Surface Pro 9 come with a keyboard?

Surface Pro keyboards are sold separately, but they can be purchased as part of a bundle when you buy your Surface Pro. Choose from several color options and features--including a fingerprint reader--with Surface Pro Signature Keyboard or Surface Pro Keyboard.

Does Surface Pro 9 come with a pen or stylus?

Surface Slim Pen 2 is sold separately, but you can save by purchasing it as a part of a bundle that also includes a keyboard with built-in storage for the pen. Use its exceptional accuracy and pen-on-paper feel to make notes, draw, sketch, and more directly on Surface Pro 9’s screen.

How long does a Surface Pro 9 battery last?

How many monitors can Surface Pro 9 support?

With two USB-C® with USB 4.0/Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, Surface Pro 9 can support up to two external monitors. Surface Pro 9 with 5G can also connect to two external monitors using its two USB-C® 3.2 ports. To add additional monitors, use a Surface Dock 2 or Surface Thunderbolt™ 4 Dock. 9.

Can I add RAM to Surface Pro 9?

When building your Surface Pro 9, you can choose from 8 GB, 16 GB, or 32 GB (LPDDR5 RAM). Choose between 8 GB or 16 GB LPDDR4x RAM for Surface Pro 9 with 5G. Both models also come with removable drive (SSD) options that you can use for additional storage space. Currently, these are the only RAM options available for Surface Pro 9.

What ports does Surface Pro 9 have?

The ports you'll have with Surface Pro 9 depend on which model you purchase. Here are the ports on each device:
