    Does the job for me

Pros: Faster Than N150, Wifi Range Over 60 Ft, price, Connects To Win Xp Laptop, Works With Century Link Cons: Doesn't Connect To Ipaq Other thoughts: Bought this to replace separate modem and 150N wireless router. The old router just didn't have enough range for the far end of the house; this one does the job. My TIVO has a G interface, but works OK after I changed its network settings for the new Netgear router. My smartphone, Windows XP, Vista, and 7 devices all get stable connections. In about 2 weeks of use, I had to reset it once. The power button on the back of the unit is a handy plus. Overall, so far, so good.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Pros: Good Modem Router Cons: Not easy to setup Other thoughts: Nice replacement for an older, failed modem / router. The 'n' transmitter gives great speed to laptop with matching 'n' adapter.

Pros: Cons: Looked Beat-up, Box Included Hair, Could Not Set-up Other thoughts: The product itself looked rough, even for refurbished. When i opened the box, there were long strands of hair, very gross. Went to the website to configure and could not get the product to read.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Pros: Easy setup, Reliable connections, Great price Cons: none at this time Other thoughts: Got this for my in-laws who had an older unit provided by their ISP which would stop routing correctly and need to be power cycled. Installed this unit, reset it to make sure it was at the factory defaults, and had it automatically detect proper settings for the line. Installation was simple and flawless. Note: Updating the unit to the latest firmware decreased the number of available wireless networks (SSIDs) from 4 to 2, but that is OK because that was all I needed anyway to provide both a secure network for their use and a guest network.

Pros: Easy To Install Cons: none Other thoughts: For my application at home this was a prefect replacement for centurylink products. the zyxel was terrible, dropped every 10 to 40 minutes. This netgear has not dropped since I installed it.

Pros: Faster Than Att Router Cons: Other thoughts: Replaced a dead ATT 2wire modem with this thing, having had good experiences with NetGear products in the past. Had a little trouble trying to change access passwords (didn't work, leave it alone) but after that glitch got overcome, machine works like a dream. I did not expect internet to speed up, but apparently 2wire thing was a bottleneck, now removed. Good item, excellent price, thank you!

    Defective -- Inconvienent Return

    By Highly Disappointed

    From Indiana

    Verified Buyer

Pros: price Cons: Did not work, No phone support, Return was inconvienent Other thoughts: This product did not work right out of the box. Since it was a refurbished item, there was no phone support available -- only email support. It took 10 days of emailing back and forth and troubleshooting with Netgear for them to finally tell me that the item was defective. What a waste of my time! Buydig.com sent me a RA label with instruction to return via FedEx. However, the nearest staffed FedEx site is approximately 40 miles away.

Pros: Easy to set up, Worked as advertised Cons: Limited documentation Other thoughts: Despite being 'Refurbished', my unit is working as well as the one I purchased brand new. However, documentation that comes with package is minimal (no CD). Not sure if I would be able to set it up if I hadn't worked on one before.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

    good device, bad customer service

    From santa clarita, ca

    Verified Buyer

Pros: Reliable Cons: Bad customer service Other thoughts: Refurbished devices do not come with free customer service assistance to help set up device. instead they wanted to charge 80 for tech support! Email support is free, but there is a 24 hour turn around time on responses. This can be difficult without internet! I will admit, a response only took about 5 hours, and instuctions were thorough and solved my problem, however, in order to obtain instructions it takes you to a link. Again, with no internet this can be a problem. We had to tether our cell phones to get access to the info.
