Pros: Haven't got to use it that much but it focuses quickly and takes clear photos. The long telescopic lens is very nice. A little bit more bulky than the point n shoots I'm use to (can't put it in your pocket ), but those are only 10 or 12 X, where this is 34 X. Overall I like the camera. Cons: Other thoughts:

Pros: camera looked nice and seemed that someone would like it Cons: came to me not working and shipment heavily delayed Other thoughts: After talking with the customer experience liaison, Charles, he made the situation right by promptly helping me arrange for return of non working device. Not sure if this was a Buydig problem or Nikon but glad at least it was able to be returned with minimal problems and my money credited back. I may use them in the future but will never buy factory refurbished again. Also make sure in stock before you order by calling their customer service first. Found out hard way the site may be different from actual inventory.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Pros: High megapixel, image stabilization and 34x optical zoom and price. Cons: Feels a little cheap compared to my older Canon IS cameras. Other thoughts: The WiFi functionality would have been nice for this particular model.

Pros: Easy to operate. Takes great pictures. Zoom is awesome. The camera you always wanted but necessary purchases come first. Precious moments captured for years to come. Cons: None yet. Other thoughts: I bought a camera 10 years ago with 10x zoom. I've taken great pictures for 10 years with this camera. I decided it was time for my son to have a good camera so he could take memorable pictures of his family and special events. I purchased this camera for him. When I received it, I had to try it out before giving it to him. The Nikon with 34x zoom so impressive and easy to use that I want to upgrade my camera. The picture quality is incredible and buy dig.com delivered as promised. I'm a very satisfied customer.
