When purchasing these binoculars i compared them to several other brands for clarity and resolution. I looked at a street sign about 300 yards away and was able to see it clearly with these binoculars. Also it is easy to use these binoculars with eyeglasses, i used them without removing my sunglasses. Finally, the rubber eye-cups are great, extending and retracting easily. One word of caution, these binoculars are 10X which means that it can be hard to hold them steady. But if the user can, you get a super view for the money. They compare favorably with european binoculars costing many times this amount.

I am a semi-professional photographer and have always used Nikon cameras so I may be a little biased, but I firmly believe the quality of Nikon optics is unbeatable and these binoculars are no exception. They are brighter and crisper than any other brands I shopped. They're a little heavy but the weight give the feel of a solid, quality product. The only issue I've found is that they are a little awkward at times when wearing glasses, but that same issue applies to cameras as well. I would recommend these Nikon's to anyone and have found them to be extremely versatile for all around general use. Outstanding and worth every penny. Thanks!!
