    Was working well until the last update on the Q65 Samsung TV ! Now it's just not working anymore, the TV detect the soundbar and after 5min the volume turns off.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

    Very difficult to connect to my Sony TV. Could not get the firmware to update. There was a delay in the sound versus the lips moving on the screen.

    The sound off the soundbar was great when working fine complemented with 9500s. After 16 months central speaker especially on adaptive+ , crackles and interrupting constantly. Really annoying especially when you watch a film. Tried bluetooth and wifi connection, still doing it but not so often. But when it does it's really annoying. Poor quality electronics probably....would have been better with a longer warranty period...just proves they are made not to last more than a year... Dissapointed in this Samsung product!!!

    I cannot get the rear speakers to work further than 8 ft no matter what position I try. Within 8ft of sound bar they work... It's not true surround if I can't place the rear speakers at the proper position.

    Sounds good, but difficult to turn on. Good sound quality, but there has been an issue with starting the unit since day 1. If the unit is down for more than 5 or 6 hours, it WILL NOT TURN ON unless it's unplugged and plugged in again day after day after day. Rare times it'll be fine for a while, but then reverts back to not being able to turn on again until unplugged & plugged in again. All connections checked and rechecked. Have not found any solution online that works. Because of this, I will not recommend this product to anyone.

    I was first introduced to the Samsung Soundbar Q800A on vacation at a friends home who lives in Miami. I purchased one immediately when I returned home to Providence RI It's sound engulfes my downstairs with rich melodic tones. I had no idea the power that this sound bar has. It's the new addition to my Samsung family of products. Easy to install and easy to maintenance I recommended it

    Sound was ok at first but started experiencing volume drop out after about a year. After dealing with that problem for a while the display failed (which includes remote control operation). Instead of assistance with my tech dept. calls, Samsung service would only say: "Your are out of warranty".
