Pardon the pun in the title because when I say "Game Changer", I mean it literally changed the way I game. I spend a lot of my free time PC Gaming and this was the upgrade I never knew I needed. I started with a 23" monitor with only a 60Hz refresh rate and let me tell you... I can feel the difference switching to this new monitor. The 144Hz refresh rate feels smoother than anything else I've used previously and I honestly cannot believe it. And with the curved screen I've reached a new level of immersion. Longer gaming sessions seem to pass by quicker than previously because I am so absorbed in what is going on all around me. Beyond all this is the picture quality itself. The contrast ratio (3000:1 I believe) is very obvious straight out of the box and is a substantial improvement from a standard monitor. Overall, there has been a noticeable improvement in the quality of my gaming and internet browsing sessions since upgrading to this monitor. The monitor itself is amazing, and the cost-to-quality ratio just builds on that notion. I would definitely recommend this if you are an avid or even casual gamer looking to take your experience to the next level.

So I have been using a dual monitor setup with a 27" monitor as my primary and a 22" as my secondary for some time now and have enjoyed it very much. I thought this size is perfect, oh how I have so much to still learn! Now that I have a 32" it is a HUGE difference. All my games feel even more immersive. I find that I am no longer leaning into my monitor to see things, everything is clearer and more vivid. Gaming is even more enjoyable. I have now been using the 32" as my primary for gaming, watching videos and photo editing. I am still using the dual monitor setup but I hardly use my secondary monitor as I have sooooo much real estate available on my primary. The curved display is very nice as well. It fits nicely on my desk and makes me feel like I am in the game. All in all, I would highly recommend this monitor, not just because of the size but also for its sleek design, quality, and attributes with blacks, response time, brightness, colors. Its small bevel makes it sit well with multiple monitor setups. As it is advertised as a gaming monitor, I have been using it for more than just gaming and everything has been amazing.

At first I was a bit worried about the size, but after a few weeks I don't think I could ever go back. The quality of the monitor along with the benifits like the high resolution and exceptional refresh rate make it well worth the purchase price.

For a while now I've had a pretty powerful gaming rig with a full racing sim setup, but never upgraded to a gaming monitor. What was I waiting for? I missed out on so much. I have never seen the full potential of my system until now. I've been playing on a 24" 1080p display 60Hz. Out of the box, the Samsung 32" CJG5 is very clean looking. It has the power/selector switch on the bottom center of the screen with a minimal bezel on top and sides. It has a DisplayPort, two HDMI and a headphone jack. It comes with a power adapter and an HDMI cable. I wish it would have came with a DisplayPort cable instead like most modern monitors. As soon as I installed it and powered it on, I realized what I've been missing. At 2560x1440 with the larger screen, everything looks very sharp and clean. After playing a couple of FPS, the first thing I noticed was that the screen tearing was completely gone. At 144Hz, my games are all so smooth. So I am able to bring it closer and setup my racing sim, and all I can say is WOW! It sad to know I've e been playing this way all this time. Everything looks much more realistic because of how smooth everything moves. The blacks are much darker and gives my games more depth. The curved screen feels easier on the eyes since it's the same distance from your eyes to the screen whether looking at the center or the sides. Your eyes don't have to focus as much when looking at the center or the corners, so you get less eye fatigue. When being productive on my computer, the larger screen gives me more room to open and view multiple windows at the same time on the same screen. It's very bright, yet has an "eye saver" mode that helps block blue light. Over all this is by far the best monitor I have used and already had a friend see and and wants to purchase one for himself. I highly recommend this monitor.

Years ago a computer monitor was just a monitor, a screen to display data on and annoying green glowing lights on a small CRT screen. Today the world revolves around the ever changing size of the flat screen that we carry in our pocket and/or hang on huge walls in our home or office. The monitor (or perhaps we can now call it a gaming monitor) are now the most demanding piece of the gaming rig, next to the video card. The Samsung CJG5 is a 32" gaming monitor which comes with "almost" all of the required features to pacify most demanding gamers. I am focusing on the 32" monitor. To begin with I am upgrading from an older 27" monitor to the new 32" Samsung curved monitor. At first glance the picture is gorgeous. The curved VA panel comes with a 144 Hz refresh rate. You need to plug into the HDMI2 port to achieve that refresh rate or use the "not included" display port cable. To focus on gaming Samsung promises a 1ms response time in full game mode. Contrast ratio is 3,000 to 1 making the blacks look great for a fairly priced monitor. Samsung was able to keep the price reasonable by leaving off features that we can live (and game) without. Notably HDR and AMD's Free Sync (probably saves $200-$300). Can you live without them? Sure and you can put the savings towards a top line video card. Most HDR systems relay on the basic standard display of the HDR 400. I think the 144 Hz refresh is a good trade off. Also HDR on a 32" screen really does not do much anyway. Besides there will be a better HDR display in the immediate future as the OLED becomes more into focus. AMD's free sync is becoming available on some NVidia cards now, but was made for Amd chips to begin with. So let's face facts as prices drop you're going to buy an OLED monitor in a few years anyway and you will have a bunch of new features that have not even been invented yet. The on screen display (OSD) menu is easy to navigate. There are two HDMI ports and one display port. The stand is a bit weak in my opinion, but livable with vesa support. The Bezel is very thin, works great with dual monitors (or even triple!!)! Basically Samsung took the top of the line monitor and dolled it up and slapped a great price on it. The result is a great looking monitor with a great picture and a great price. A monitor you can game on even watch movies. Let's turn to the expert (my 15 year old "gamer "son). I figures I would have my son give me his opinion of the CJG5 32' monitor. After all he puts in more time and plays the demanding games. He was excited about playing on a 32" curved screen that seemed to envelop him into the same itself. He likened it to a "mini Imax" environment. He plays a long list of games, Rainbow Six Siege, Destiny 2, Call of Duty-Black Ops, Total War and Civilization (me candy crush!). He feels the 144 Hz refresh rate enhances the game immensely. Very smooth, no ghosting, better color, feels that game play has taken a major step forward. He is looking at playing some older games, just to see the improvement. One more thing, he is now watching DVD & blue ray and streaming movies on this monitor, he just loves the larger curved screen with its wide viewing angle. The only problem, he had a dual 27" monitor set up now he has a 32" and 27". I know what he will be asking for next!

I got this monitor almost a month ago and I have no complaints. Picture quality is great. Refresh rate up to 144hz is good. My son plays Fortnite on it and he says it plays perfectly and better than the previous monitor he had. It is a good size so a good size space is needed for it. This monitor has been perfect for my son and I he plays Minecraft, Roblox and Fornite without any complaints from him. Have watched Netflix and the shows/movies are as clear as any of my TVs.(All Samsung HD/4K) I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone who is looking for a monitor. This monitor was acquired through The Insiders program for review.

This is a 31.5" curved 1440P VA panel Gaming monitor. It also has a 144Hz refresh rate on it. All of these factor in to this being a superb monitor for gaming. The 1440p resolution means it has double the pixels of 1080p monitors which are the most common monitors out there. This means that at 1440p everything looks much sharper and in more detail. Being that this is a 31.5" montor the added pixels make sure everything remains sharp at this size. The curve adds an immersion level to the monitor, makes you feel like it is surrounding your eyes, it really adds to the greatness of the game you are playing. Right away I could feel the picture wrapping around my vision pulling me into what I was seeing more than a flat monitor could do. The 144Hz means that this monitor can keep up with games when your computer produces high frame rates, you get no delay and can see things move more fluidly due to this. The old standard was only 60Hz for monitors, this 144 is far superior and you can feel it too. 31.5" fit perfectly on my desk right into the opening it had for the monitor to recess into. I really feel this is the new best size for gaming, it blows the old 27" model we had in its place before it away. The panel on this is VA and it is producing outstanding colors, very deep blacks as well, so its the best of both worlds when it comes to color and blacks on this model. The viewing angle is also good, we had people looking at us play on this monitor form the side and they did not have any problem seeing the action without losing colors. The other panel types such as TN or IPS have some flaws you don't get on this VA. There is no glow in the corners hwo IP models have and the colors and angles are far superior to TN models on this VA panel. The stand does not have any height or other adjustments, but I don't need that on this monitor as its size leaves it in the perfect spot, no reason to move it. IT also lacks freesync/G-sync but I did not feel I was missing it either when gaming everything looked great. I also watched some videos on it and boy are they amazing to watch at this size and with the 1440p resolution, it feels like a small theatre at your desk. I am really impressed with this model, it seems to be towards the very top at its price range with all the features packed into it along with the quality of each feature that I tested on it. I fully recommend this one for any gamer out there. Also, check out my Video unboxing review of this awesome monitor!

I have to say I am really impressed with the quality of the monitor. Compared to the my other monitor this has a nice set of features that come standard such as Game Mode and the curved screen is just amazing. I played a wide variety of games such as Rocket League, Overwatch and the Anthem Beta, I was just in awe of how I was immersed in the game. And with the high refresh rate of 144hz my gaming experience was just top notch. There was no game stuttering or delay, I could finally push my graphics card to 1440p which is a big plus. With all these features I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone who wants to game at WQHD Resolution and the screen size is also enjoyable if you just want to watch internet videos or watch a online streaming service.

Not only did the monitor take more than 2 months to ship, it had the white blank screen of death in less than 10 days of using it. It was great while it worked, nice color and contrast, great price for a 1440p 144hz. Very disappointed by Samsung's quality control. It's a shame I'll have to return it.
