This monitor blacks out often. Sometimes I have to unplug then plug it back in to get the picture back.

Worked great for 8 months. Vertical lines appear now and make the monitor unusable. Common issue as you can see from other reviews. Samsung was entirely unhelpful resolving the problem and now the monitor is trash.

Be very careful when removing the stand, dont't get fooled by youtube video saying you have to open the frame, read the user manual. You only have to pull on the bottom part of the stand. I personnaly broke a flat ribbon linking the LCD to the driver board with my screwdriver. Now there is a black stipe in the middle of the screen! Pretty sad! This screen was working prefectly until I bought a Monitor Stand Arm for Two Screens...

I've owned this model for over a year and am extremely happy using it as my primary monitor. I needed to replace my second monitor in my multi-monitor setup, however, so I decided to purchase this model again since I loved it so much. However, the new monitor I received had horrible backlight bleeding in the bottom right corner. I assumed the unit was defective, and sent it back and ordered the same model from another company. That monitor just arrived, and has an almost identical defect with the backlight in the bottom right corner. I'm not sure what happened to the build quality of this model, but it went from a fantastic monitor to a very poor one.

All the features are good, my only complaint is the rediculous monitor mount. If you plan to use a VESA monitor mount, the only way to completely remove the base stand is to remove the entire back monitor cover. Utterly stupid design.

You need to have a hi-speed HDMI cable and medium-end graphics (or Intel Gen8 or above) for HDMI to auto-detect smoothly. Else, just use VGA port. Not recommended to use HDMI with machines older than 2017 without ext.graphics card. The stand is a little flimsy, so be careful not to knock/push hard.
