    Purchased this TV in 2017, and about three weeks after our warranty expired, a purple splotch appeared in the bottom left hand corner. Then one appeared in the top left, then the middle, and now they're everywhere. After reading about it, we learned it was a problem around the globe and apparently had to do with who manufactured the LED strips. Did Samsung do anything about it? No. We used to only buy Samsung, but now we've been trying new brands. So far, our 55" TCL has been fantastic.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

    My husband and I bought this TV about three years ago. It worked great for the first couple of years, but recently, without any damage done to the TV, it is started glitching like crazy. The volume will turn all the way up or all the way down without any remote usage. (This is because the remote quit working altogether). We started having to use the buttons on the back of TV to operate. After about a month of doing this, they started failing as well. At this point, the TV is completely unusable, and it is only three years old.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

    As soon as the warranty expired a dark vertical shadow appeared. Apparently this is a common problem with Samsung televisions, even with more expensive models. Samsung does not live up to the reputation it once had.

    I bought mine about four years ago and to this day the picture is great,about two years ago my smart tv turned into a dumb tv because I had to keep signing in on some of the APPS and that burned me up. I solve that with a Roku stick and things are easier and better by using it without any problems.

    I purchased the tv in 2018 and have had no problems from it. I've had 2 other name brand TV's (V&S brands) that only lasted 3 years and an L brand that lasted about 1 month. Picture quality still rivals my present day 80" Samsung QLED TV. Has all the necessary connections, sounds great and again I love the Picture.

    I bought this TV over four years ago everything works just fine but my smart tv acts dumb sometimes by saying I have no internet connection when all my other devices are working okay,I have to reboot to use the apps which is frustrating at times but I solve that by buying a Roko device for about $25 I would have given five stars if it wasn't for that
