The custom DMC7 X capsule offers the same innovative, specialized aluminum voice coil technology as the V7 dynamic. With aluminum being a much lighter material than the industry standard (copper), it delivers an open and transient-rich sound, with deep and clear lows and an extremely balanced mid-range, supporting the natural resonances of percussive instruments.
Unique, Patented Integrated Capsule Suspension
The V BEAT’s advanced internal capsule suspension efficiently decouples the capsule from mechanical vibration, isolating it from shocks & jolts and eliminating the need for an external shock mount.

The V CLAMP adds another axis of vertical movement for even better fine-positioning ability, and keeps the V BEAT securely fastened to your drum rim while adding barely any bulk to the overall footprint.
A Sturdy Grip for Your Favorite Tom or Snare Drum Rims
By placing the top of the V CLAMP's rubber jaw mount on the top of a drum's rim, the bottom of the jaw mount can then be easily secured to the bottom of the rim. The V CLAMP's clever design offers convenience to drummers and percussionists worldwide as it can be fixed to a drum's rim with one hand, if using the right technique!
