The smaller size, fm radio feature, ability to interface with itunes and media player,and the quality, are the reasons this is the second walkman I've bought. The first was recently stolen. The radio preset seems to be autoscan. If there is a manual preset as on my last walkman, I haven't found it.

I have owned cheap players and have never been satisfied. I bought this for my daughter but own the same player with 16 GB of memory. Sony wins hands down with sound quality. This player is very easy to navigate through albums and songs. Bought it for music listening but it plays videos and pictures and has an FM tuner also. Won't waste my money or time on the off brands ever again! Used Windows Media Player to transfer music...simple and no glitches.

Pros: Great Sound, Reliable Performance, Easy To Set Up, Long Battery Life, Sleek/Compact, Simple Controls Cons: Other thoughts: My SONY MP3 came with a slightly lose headphone jack but i solved the issue with a cell phone pouch/carry case.I use that instead of my pocket.The one problem I had with the player is with the installed program 'Media Go' if you first plug in the mp3 to your PC it will automatically synchronize the music erasing what was on the MP3 and you can't delete the new music now saved on MP3. I found u can solve this issue by opening Media Go first then plug in MP3.You don't have to use the software you can drag and drop but you don't get the record info. (I like the pictures off the albums)

Pros: Easy To Set Up, Simple Controls, Great Sound, Awsome battery life, Sleek/Compact Cons: Adding lyrics isn't easy Other thoughts: The only reason I didn't give this little gem 5 stars is that the album covers take up too much space that the memory isn't truly 8 GB. Also adding lyrics is not an easy task. Other than that I find this player well worth the money. The battery life is amazing sound is great and it's fairly simple to operate.
