The Sony WH-CH730N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones in Black are lightweight over-ear headphones designed for commuting, travel, work, study, and everyday listening. They combine Dual Noise Sensor active noise cancellation, Ambient Sound control, 30mm dynamic drivers, DSEE audio enhancement, Bluetooth 6.0, multipoint connectivity, up to 50 hours of battery life with noise cancelling on, and a foldable design in a comfortable closed-back form factor.
Sony’s Dual Noise Sensor technology uses microphones in each earcup to detect surrounding sound and reduce environmental distractions. Ambient Sound Mode provides up to 20 levels of control, allowing users to hear more of their surroundings when needed. Sony also supports adaptive behavior that can tailor ambient settings based on usage patterns.
The headphones use 30mm dynamic drivers and support Sony DSEE, which helps restore detail lost in compressed digital audio. The Sony | Sound Connect app provides access to equalizer settings, noise control, connection settings, and other supported personalization options.
Battery life reaches up to 50 hours with noise cancelling enabled and up to 75 hours with noise cancelling turned off. Continuous talk time is rated up to approximately 35 hours with noise cancelling on and up to 40 hours with it off. A full recharge takes approximately three hours.
Wireless connectivity uses Bluetooth 6.0 with support for SBC, AAC, and LC3 codecs. Multipoint connectivity allows the headphones to maintain connections with multiple compatible devices more conveniently, while a detachable analog audio cable enables passive wired listening when needed.
