I bought this so I would have a backup when my other battery was depleted & needed charging. So far this new battery sucks! It overheats does not hold a charge. It has less run time than my old battery that came with vacuum bought it 2017. I would not recommebuyingvthis piece of garbage especially at the price it is selling for. I am keeping it only hecause I need a ba k up battery & can't wait another 2 or 3 weeks to get a replacement. I will not buy another Shark vacuum again.

The battery can only be charged by the power pack charger that came with the battery. I tried to charge it with my original charger which comes with the vacuum; nothing happened

Ordered a battery and a charging stationas it takes more than battery for me to vacuum my entire house. The battery itself was good, was a bit disappointed with the delivery. My first package came with just the charging portion - no battery. I called though and received good customer service. The woman apologized and immediately shipped the battery. I got it two days later and the box was open on my front porch. The tape seemed to not have been sticky (the weather may have contributed) so the box was wide open. I live in a safe neighborhood so the battery was still in the box, but should be better secured for a few house who worry about porch pirates. Overall, love the product and the customer service was good, my problem was fixed quickly!

I bought the extra battery pack with a twin charger about a month ago. I have so enjoyed the cordless vacuum but I definitely needed an extra battery to finish cleaning my home in one day without waiting long periods for battery to charge. The extra battery provides me that extra time and when Ian done - I am able to charge up both batteries at the same time for the next use.

Having the second battery is nice, my house is large enough I can't always get everything done on one battery. So if one runs out nice to grab the one off the charger and keep going.
