The Tineco FLOOR ONE S5 Steam is a corded all-in-one floor washer designed to vacuum, wash, and steam sealed hard floors in a single cleaning pass. It combines wet/dry debris pickup, high-temperature steam, Tineco iLoop Smart Sensor technology, automatic suction and water adjustment, dual clean/dirty water tanks, digital controls, self-cleaning, and a long 26-foot power cord for continuous whole-room cleaning.

The system is designed to eliminate the need to vacuum before washing. It can simultaneously pick up loose debris and wash the floor, while Steam Mode adds hot steam for tackling sticky residues and more stubborn messes. Tineco’s support documentation notes that the machine automatically adjusts steam, water flow, roller pressure, and suction based on detected floor conditions.

The integrated iLoop Smart Sensor monitors the level of dirt on the floor and adjusts cleaning performance accordingly. Water flow can vary from approximately 25 to 55 mL/min, while steam flow ranges from approximately 25 to 35 g/min, depending on how dirty the surface is.

Separate 0.75-liter clean and dirty water tanks help keep fresh water isolated from recovered wastewater. This dual-tank design prevents dirty water from being continuously recirculated over the floor and supports a more consistent cleaning process.

The FLOOR ONE S5 Steam is intended for non-carpeted hard floors, including vinyl, tile, and sealed wood. Tineco also notes that the brush roll can pick up animal hair and direct it into the dirty-water tank during cleaning.

A built-in self-cleaning mode rinses the brush roll and internal pathway after use. With the machine placed on its storage tray, the dirty-water tank emptied, and sufficient clean water in the clean-water tank, the cycle runs automatically and finishes in roughly 100 seconds.

Because the S5 Steam is corded, there is no battery runtime limitation. Tineco lists the power cord at approximately 26 feet / 8 meters, allowing extended cleaning without stopping to recharge.
