    Very powerful full range detector. I like that you can block false signals from not police radar. It has GPS on it and it shows your speed and warns you if you are over the speed limit and speed limit changes. Very user friendly. I like it.

    I love this RD. I have an LRD950 and loooove it. This DFR7 is the successor to that model and is even better. Sleek all-black body and great performance. Very quiet until it gets a real alert. I bought 2! There are more expensive models with great features and performance but this is the bang for the buck. Especially when, like me, you need several for several vehicles. #sweepstakes

    Good Detector with a Mounting Issue

    Radar detector works well but after about 6 months the spring loaded latch that locks the detector to the windshield mounting bracket no longer works. The detector still works and will slide onto the mount but bumpy roads will cause the detector to work itself off. Kind of a bummer to have a nice detector that doesn't stay put.

    The product works very well with the sheriffs cars that their radar is on the entire shift. With the Laser some time is too late .I will recommend the product,but you still have to watch.

    This radar detector is OK it could be a lot lot better. When driving in the city it constantly goes off because of the motion sensors on automatic opening doors. I was told by an individual at Uniden that there will be no more firmware updates for the DFR-7 radar detector. Updating your radar detector is a huge hassle! I feel like you have to be a computer technician to download them. All of Uniden's firmware updates are this way. Next radar detector purchase I will check on how easy it is to update and more reviews before I buy for sure!
