The Vivitar ViviCam X327 Digital Camera features a 10.1 MP CMOS sensor and a 3x optical zoom lens equivalent to 36 to 108mm. This allows it to capture quality photographs for general purpose shooting.
For shooting and reviewing images, a 2.7" TFT LCD display is available. The screen will let you easily compose images and see how images will look before you shoot. Also, the camera's 3x optical zoom can be increased with an 8x digital zoom you can see via the LCD screen.
This camera also has a built-in flash for low-light shooting. This works with a red-eye reduction mode for shooting portraits. When you can't use a flash, there is an Anti-shake function that reduces the impact of blur on handheld photographs.
For storing images, this camera has 32MB of internal memory and can support SD cards up to 8GB in size. It operates on 3 AAA batteries and includes a software installation CD, a wrist strap, and a USB cable for transferring images.
Face detection will allow your camera to more easily focus on people in portraits
Self-timer function allows for setting a 2, 5, or, 10-second delay before taking a photo
Anti-Shake technology reduces blur while you are handholding the camera in low-light conditions
Compatible with PictBridge-capable printers, you can print directly from the camera via the PictBridge menu
Windows-based computers can run the included PhoTags Express software to download photos for editing with enhancement and captioning features
