Difficult to set sound to have dialog come thru clearly and understandable. My wife insists we use closed captioning. I agree even though I find it very distracting. I have contacted Vizio tech support to walk me thru set-up. They have been unable to satisfactorily resolve this issue.

Significant step up from the VHT510 that faithfully provided great sounds since 2010. Only wish the remote display was backlit for night viewing. Otherwise great product for its price!

I bought this sound bar system to go along with a 65" TV and it has worked great. The sound bar sounds great and the subwoffer is the kicker. I laid it underneath my couch and when you are watching a movie you can literally feel it in the couch. The two smaller speakers can get lost in the mix. The wireless sub paired instantly with no problems. Haven't maxed out the sound bar yet, afraid of how loud it will be with neighbors in my condo unit. Safe to say you'll get enough crisp clear sound fx and music with this one.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

The 5.1 sound bar system has very good sound. The sound bar looks perfect sitting right in front of my 65 inch tv. The slim design of the subwoofer makes for easy out of sight placement. I was very pleased as to how easy it was to setup.

Bought vizio because I thought it was made to match my Vizio TV. I was wrong. Had to make legs for the bar to clear TV base mount. TV sound control won't control volume level, have to set TV for external & use sound bar volume control,which doesn't show on TV screen. My previous surround sound used my TV volume control & showed up on screen, didn't need external control. Has side to side volume, but no front to rear & no individual speaker volume. TV remote will turn bar on volume up & down, but won't turn it off. Sub woofer rattles if turned up more than minimum.

Open Reply - In-House ExpertThe subwoofer is wireless. The 2 satellite speakers connect with audio cables to the subwoofer.
