The Autel Robotics EVO Max 4T XE is a professional enterprise drone platform engineered for demanding applications including search and rescue, public safety, infrastructure inspection, firefighting, surveying, and industrial operations. Combining a rugged folding aircraft with Autel's FusionLight 4T XE multi-sensor gimbal, the EVO Max 4T XE provides visible-light imaging, long-range optical zoom, thermal imaging, and laser ranging capabilities in a single integrated aerial platform.

The FusionLight 4T XE payload incorporates wide-angle and zoom cameras capable of high-resolution imaging and 4K video, alongside a 640 × 512 thermal camera for detecting and measuring heat signatures. The thermal system supports up to 16x digital zoom and a measurement range from approximately -4°F to 1022°F (-20°C to 550°C). An integrated laser rangefinder can measure targets from approximately 16.4' to 0.75 miles (5 to 1200 m), providing valuable distance and positional information during inspection, mapping, and emergency-response operations.

For detailed visual inspection, the zoom camera provides 10x optical zoom and up to 160x hybrid zoom, allowing operators to inspect distant objects while maintaining a safer operating distance. The wide-angle camera provides a broad field of view for situational awareness, navigation, documentation, and mapping.

The EVO Max 4T XE is designed to operate safely in complex environments. Its combination of binocular vision and millimeter-wave radar provides 720° obstacle detection and avoidance, including enhanced perception in low-light and challenging weather conditions. Autel's autonomous flight technology continuously analyzes environmental information for global path planning, 3D scene reconstruction, autonomous obstacle avoidance, and return-to-home functionality.

For environments where satellite navigation is obstructed or unreliable, SLAM visual navigation helps maintain stable positioning and flight. Advanced anti-interference technologies are also designed to counter RFI, EMI, and GPS spoofing in electrically complex environments such as power infrastructure and dense urban areas.

The aircraft supports A-Mesh 1.0 networking, allowing multiple aircraft and controllers to form an interconnected operational network. Individual aircraft can function as communication relays, extending operational flexibility in areas affected by terrain, structures, or limited network connectivity. This capability is particularly useful for coordinated public-safety, inspection, and large-area response operations.

With a maximum flight time of approximately 42 minutes, maximum horizontal speed of approximately 51 mph, wind resistance up to 27 mph, and SkyLink 3.0 long-range transmission, the EVO Max 4T XE provides the endurance and communications capabilities required for professional missions. Its folding design allows the aircraft to be transported efficiently in the included rugged carrying case.
