The set up was quick and easy. I've made waffles, omelets and sandwiches with the appliance and sm very pleased with the results. It's easily prepared for cooking and just as easy to clean afterwards. I really like that an exact measuring cup comes with it. With it, there are no overflows snd and it gives a near perfect result.

This replaces a waffle iron I had for almost 30 years, so that being said I don't think anything made these days would last 30 years the quality just isn't there. The metal is thin and the base is partly plastic. It dose make nice waffles and the omelette side is fair. I use the waffles side on about 2 or 3 and the omelette side on 1, it would be nice if you could turn off the side your not using but that is not an option.

This is one of the best waffle makers. My only problem is that it's hard to clean (wish the plates were removable).

Great machine. Pancakes and waffles look so good, you really want to eat them. When you taste them, it makes your head explode. The best ever. If you can imagine. Just a simple pancake brought to a new level.

Do you enjoy it when your appliance beeps at you every 20 seconds? Well, if you plan to use this to make Belgian Waffles, let the constant beeping begin! If you plan to just make an omelet, the waffle iron side will beep. If you plan to just make waffles, the omelet side will beep even more regularly. I believe it is because there is no "OFF" setting for either side. So, if you turn the appliance on, this turns on BOTH sides. This leads to a constant beep indicating that one side is warm, and since you are not putting anything into it, it beeps every 15-20 seconds. Making a batter of Belgian Waffles can take 20 minutes or longer. All 20+ minutes are filled with a constant beeping so you don't know if the beep is indicating your waffle is done cooking or if the omelet side is ready and waiting. Minus this very annoying beep "feature", the appliance makes an amazing, perfect omelet every time as well as a deliciously crispy outside/ soft inside Belgian Waffle. Put in your earbuds and crank some music and the experience of using the Breakfast Express becomes a 5 STAR rating!
