The Sony ULT TOWER 7 in Black is a high-output portable party speaker designed for parties, karaoke, DJ setups, events, gatherings, and large entertainment spaces. It combines 360° Party Sound, ULT POWER SOUND bass modes, a seven-driver acoustic system, dynamic party lighting, Bluetooth 5.3, up to 30 hours of battery life, IPX4 splash resistance, XLR/RCA/microphone connectivity, a 10-band customizable EQ, and integrated wheels and handles for powerful entertainment at home or on the go.

The acoustic system uses one large 11.02-inch woofer, two 4.72-inch midrange drivers, two front tweeters, and two rear tweeters. This arrangement is designed to spread sound throughout the surrounding space rather than concentrating it in a single direction. Sound Field Optimization and horizontal/vertical sound tuning further help adapt playback to the speaker's position and listening environment.

Sony provides multiple sound profiles, including ULT1, ULT2, FLAT, and LIVE modes. ULT modes emphasize powerful low-frequency performance, while a 10-band customizable equalizer provides additional control for adjusting the speaker to different music styles, rooms, and event environments.

Integrated party lighting adds synchronized visual effects for gatherings, karaoke sessions, and entertainment spaces. Audio settings, EQ controls, and additional functions can be managed through the Sony Sound Connect app.

The ULT TOWER 7 also supports a broad range of wired sources. Connections include RCA input, XLR input, XLR output, a 1/4-inch microphone input, USB-A, and USB-C, giving the speaker flexibility for karaoke, DJ equipment, microphones, computers, mobile devices, and other compatible audio sources.

Wireless playback uses Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC, AAC, and LDAC codec support. Two compatible ULT TOWER 7 speakers can be configured using Stereo Pair, while Party Chain can synchronize compatible Sony party speakers for expanded audio coverage.

An internal rechargeable battery provides up to approximately 30 hours of playback under Sony-rated conditions. The speaker can also operate from AC power, and its USB power function can provide power to a compatible smartphone when needed.

The cabinet carries an IPX4 water-resistance rating when positioned vertically, helping protect it against splashing water during suitable outdoor and party use. Integrated handles and wheels make the approximately 50-pound speaker easier to reposition between rooms and event locations.
